Capítulo 7: Little one!
A/N: Apology at the end so enjoy the chapter first.
Reba came back with the question papers and Yash started solving them.
He breezed past 5th to 10th grade and slowed just a little for the next 2, and while he did this Reba stood beside him dumb founded since she checked each paper and wrote a 100 on each of them.
"HEHE....HEHEHE" Reba laughed her Iconic childlike laughter since any guardian would be happy knowing they had a genius with them.
Reba was just about to say something to Yash but she saw the frown on his face while solving the 12th Grade paper.
'Is he not happy??... maybe he remembered something bad?... maybe his parents started pushing him too much because of him being a genius?..... most probably the last one ... I was about to do the same thing.' Thought Reba
'Mannnn even though it is easy to solve these... it is just irritating doing these! at least doing these will prove I will not have to go to school.' Thought Yash
'Don't worry child this adoptive mother of yours will make sure that you enjoy life from now on..... genius or not.' Thought Reba.
This was the moment that fked up Yash's plan..... all due to not liking the act of studying.....so kids go study.
Yash gave Reba the final paper and looked at her with expectant eyes.
"Ok so you know everything till 12th grade... You are still going to school."-R
"Wha.... why Mrs R you sai"-Y
"You are going and that is final"-R
"....."-Y
'There is nothing to be done when she is like this.....sigh, It might be a good experience... I always did want to see if those high school shows were even remotely relatable... especially now that I am in a sitcom universe.'-Y
"Ok Mrs R, let's do as you say."-Y
"Good you are learning" Reba smiled and patted his head.
A few hours more passed by and it was time to go pick up the kids from the school.
"Come Yash let's get the Kids back from school, you can also have a look at the school you might be going."-R
Yash nodded and followed her.
It took 20 mins to reach the school where Reba asked Yash to go to the gate and wait for Jake and Kyra to arrive since Cheyenne comes back home after her practice.
The children looked at the handsome child standing at the gate which prompted them to start talking about him.
"Who is he?"
"He is cute"
"Cute? that is above that"
"Should I go to talk to him"
The majority of the people looking were girls young and old.
A grandma approached him,"Hello little one are you waiting for your mother?"
"No miss my friend is coming out now and I am waiting for them with their mother who is parking the car"-Y
"Oh ok have a nice day"
"You too ma'am"
The grandma went on her way, it was only as she was leaving that Yash noticed the child with her.
"That is Haley..... she seems to be of Kyra's age.... a year younger maybe... hehehehehe modern family is also converging here..... cool "
"What are you talking to yourself about?"-K
"!!..... Could you not sneak up on me Kyra"-Y
"Sneak up? I walked normally?"-K
"Yash!! you came to pick me up, where is mom?"-J
"She is in the car there let's go"-Y
'Modern family?? a weird way of addressing a family.... was he talking about his own family?'-K
The three children went back to the car and Reba talked to them about their day.

<<Cheyenne's POV>>
I was doing my daily practice when a girl came running to me.
"Cheyenne a good-looking guy came to pick up your brother and sister!! who is he!!!!".
"huh?? who... oh that must be Yash, no he is not my brother he came to live with us just yesterday..."-C
hearing them talk the rest of the girls also joined in and hearing of a cute guy being talked about
"ohhhh so how long is he here"
"Is he gonna come everyday"
"Is he single?"
"You have to introduce us!"
This went on for a good 5 minutes which overwhelmed Cheyenne.
"Ok girls enough!! I will bring him to the next game and he will most probably come here tomorrow as well you can see him then!!"-C
This did not calm the girls down and today's practice went by with Cheyenne trying to make them do their routine while the girls just kept gossiping about the mysterious cute guy who appeared in the school.
Outside the gymnasium where Cheyenne was Van also heard of the handsome guy who appeared and took his gf's brother and sister home but being the Van he was he did not pay much mind to it till his 'good friends' started talking.
"Hey man you are not worried about that guy?"
"He took Cheyenne's brother and sister home which means he should know her family pretty well."
"Hey what are you trying to say!"-V
"You should talk to Cheyenne about this and also warn that boy to stay away from Cheyenne"
"No man I trust Cheyenne she will not do anything wrong."-V
"Hey man I trust Cheyenne too but what about that boy..... Cheyenne is a gorgeous girl.... who knowssss"
(a/n: gave him that snake-like voice hehehehe)
This while did not make Van immediately run towards Cheyenne but it did make him think things which might lead to quite a comical scene.

[Hart house]
Reba had gone out again for some reason after dropping the kids off.
Kyra had as usual gone to her room while Jake sat with Yash in the living room couch.
"So"-J
"Are you from another country?"-J
(a/n: Jake is too small right now to understand what a passport is so....)
"Yeah, from India"-Y
"Cool..... so you have family there"-J
A bitter smile crept on Yash's face.
'Might as well share the truth with the little guy
"Yeah I had but they abandoned me"-Y
"Oh... that's bad"-J
"Yeah that's bad....."-Y
"You want a hug?"-J
".... hahahaha yeah give me a hug"-Y
Jake hugged Yash which filled Yash with feelings of innocent care and love.
It was at this moment Jake became an emotional support for the trauma that was locked in Yash... This would soon become a pivotal point in the cruel past of our boy

Eklavya_Uniyal Really sorry for the wait guys but I tried writing and this chapter came out........ I am not proud of this.
I messed up in college so that is catching up to me now.... and no I did not do what Van did neither drugs or shit...... but academics is messed up so......
I had some other things happen which landed me in therapy which helped quite a lot and now I am back to the routine of college.......
Again I am really sorry.... you guys have been amazing showing this much support for a new author and I am sorry to ruin that.
I will try to get atleast 1 chapter out a week but the updates will still be irratic.
