As he persisted, Alex concentrated intensely on absorbing energy in just one direction, that being the object he held. His body started to relax unconsciously; the energy flowing from the crystal seed was exceptionally pure. Unlike before, he didn't have to shift through impurities, enhancing his efficiency in absorbing energy.
