Capítulo 6: Facing The Truth
Two days had passed since Sung Ho left for the hunting party and the incident with Ha Joon. She was still trying to accept that she was dead, Mi Young was concerned about her mom and the fact that her mother was all alone in the world scared her, and then an idea popped up in her mind.
"System are you there? I want to talk to you." she said
After a few minutes of silence she thought it won't answer.
"Yes you called?" said the system
"I wanted to know can you do everything for the person you are assigned too." she asked
"Yes ,am only to limited killing." said the system.
"Oh, ok can also help people from my past life by my request!" she asked hopefully.
"But I can only do it when you get all types of stones." said the system
"Ok, I want to know how Sung Ho is doing. It's been has two days and haven't heard from him and scared I need to know how his doing can you please check on him for me." she asked
"Ok I'll give you five Rings which will help you connect to your mates."said the system
"But I only have one mate Sung ho and I don't think I want another mate."she said
"Yeah right, if you say so." said the system.
"Why do you say it like that? " she asked
"What about Ha Joon, you seem to like him." said the system.
"I don't like him like that I only care about him because his my friend." she said blushing.
"Then why are you blushing, if you don't like him." said the system.
"Stop with the questions, I just wanna know how Sung ho's doing." she said
"Okay, open your palm." said the system.
She opened her palm and five rings appeared.
"When he comes back put one ring on his finger and one on your finger, I'll have to do the same to your other mates" it said.
"But I want to know how he's doing and when he's coming back!" she yelled.
"Don't worry he'll come back soon then you think." it said.
"Hey, am curious can I give you a name? I want to make it easy for me to call you." said Mi Young
"Yes, you can call me anything you want. But you won't call me I'll come to you when needed." it answered
"Oh okay, but am still giving you a name. Let me think, hmmm, i'll....call.....you buttercup, do you like it?" she said
"If you like the name then yes you can call me buttercup." said buttercup.
"That will be all thanks." she said
"Okay have a good day, bye." said buttercup.
"I just I should keep these rings somewhere safe." she said to herself.
She went to her room, she had made a little hole and put a rock on it to hide it. She took the rings and put them in a little bag and berried it.
Just started cooking when Bong seon came.
"Hey Mi Young, good morning. I just came to check on you how are you doing. " she said.
"Bong seon, how are you and how's your family?" said Mi Young
"My mates and I are doing great, and I think am pregnant." she said happily.
"OH MY GOD, really am so happy for you. I wish you all the best." said Mi Young happily.
"Soooo, when are you going to have kids." asked Bong seon.
"Not now but I do want to have kids am just not ready yet and besides Sung ho's not here." she said
"Okay, what about Ha Joon?" asked Bong seon
"What about him?" she asked nervously
"You like him right?" said Bong seon
"No! Why do people keep saying that, is it because I care for him?" said Mi Young.
"No, it's because you blush everytime we talk about him." she answered
"I don't blush!" yelled Mi young
"But you're doing it now you're blushing." she said
She wanted to argue but she knew that she wasn't lying.
"Hey I have always wanted to know how you prepare the animal skins. Can you show me?" she said
"Oh, can you show me how to meowh meowh.." she said mockingly"Don't change the subject but if you're uncomfortable I'll stop talking about it but please think about it."
"Okay I'll think about. Do you like pork because it's ready. I hope you enjoy it." said Mi Young as she served the food.
"Of course I love pork, I love eating everything you make. I want to do something nice for my mates." sadly said Bong seon.
"What's with the long face?" she asked concerned
"Male are sometimes mistreated by females, Ha joon's mother overworked him and later abandoned him, he was only a five year old boy that's when he was found by Dr. Jeong Hyun-hoo he was kind enough to raise him to be the man he is today. But ever since then he has always thought of females as monsters." she said
"What happened to his father? And his mother is she still alive?" asked Mi Young.
"He dead fighting to stay Ha joon's mother's mate and he witnessed it transfer, he became a quiet and cruel person but a great leader. And his mother dead only a year ago. And no one has ever dared to get close to him" she explained.
"How do you know all this? I mean if everyone is scared of him." asked Mi Young.
"Dr. Jeong and I are very close he told me everything." she said
They made plans to go out so that Bong seon could teach Mi Young how to make the animal skin comfortable. They ate their meal and she planned to give some of their meal to Ha joon. After she ate, Mi Young went to Ha joon's house and knocked on the door. Ha joon answered the door but didn't look well he looked abit sick.
"Ha joon are you okay you look abit sick." she said considered
"It's nothing I just have a cold." he said
"No, it's not nothing you're sick and you're going to the doctor now." she said
"Are you ordering a God? " he said coldly.
"No, am concerned about you and I worry about you come to my house I'll take care of you since the doctor's not here." she said
She took his hand and pulled him to her house.
"Mi Young you're back I.... oh my Lord, I'll leave now you'll find me at my house. Bye my Lord, Mi Young." she said in a shakily voice.
"Okay bye I'll see you this evening." she said.
Bong seon left leaving them together alone. Mi Young took him to Sung ho's bedroom and told him to rest on his bed.
"Okay, now I don't want to see you out of your bed. How long have you been feeling unwell?" she said
"It's none of your concern. " he coldly said.
"Am only trying to help you, look I don't care if you hate me but I care about you well being. So how long have you been feeling this way." she said in a firm but concerned voice.
Ha joon grabbed her hair looked at her and said
"Why do you care? Why do you keep caring for me? All females are evil but why do to care about me? WHY!?"
She gently removed his hand and answered.
"I just care. Stay here I need to go get your soup I prepare for you." she said
As she was walking to the kitchen she go lost in thoughts thinking about Ha joon's words when a knock interrupted her. She went to answer the door and they are was Sung ho standing at the door. She jumped on him and gave him a long kiss. She pulled away breathless.
"SUNG HO I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!! I thought something bad happened to you, I thought I'll never see you again." she sodded.
"I missed you too, and I told you that I'll be back right? And I always keep my promises." he said joyfully
"Yes you do, and please don't ever change, oh I almost forgot I have a sick person in your room come to the kitchen I just prepared some soup." she said excitedly
She poured him a bow of soup and another for Ha joon. She took the meat and herbs and put them in kitchen.
"So whose the sick person?" asked Sung ho.
"It's Ha joon he fell sick so I brought him here since Dr. Joeng wasn't here. Let just give him the soup I'll be right back." she said
But Sung ho pulled her back and told her to be careful around him. She kissed him and told him there was nothing to worry about.
She went to Sung ho's room to give Ha joon his bow of soup but he asked if she could feed him the soup and she agreed to feed him with Ha Joon knowing that Sung ho was watching them.
This was just the beginning of Mi Young's male trouble.
