Capítulo 63: Spiritual Awakening
While communicating with Heli, Stefan walked towards a bookshelf, and he had just touched a book when he got a strange intuition...
As if this was not what he was looking for. Stefan was surprised only for some time, but then he decided to be silent about this. Just as Stefan touched another book, he once again got that intuition that made feel like this book was not useful for him, but it contains some deeper secret.
Stefan, although doubtful of its authenticity, still took it with him.
When the magician asked if he was done with the selection, Stefan politely declined and continued searching for books. After all, at this point of time, he can only feel secure if he has more hidden cards.
It was not in vain to live in the magical world for so many years. Stefan has learned that even if he did not take the initiative to seek trouble. Either way, it will still come to his door. Just like how Li was almost killed.
If it had not been for the timely mission from the system, Stefan could not imagine what would have happened in case he and Li were caught. Obviously, those stones were something that Li found with his own luck, but people were not even willing to leave a child when it comes to profits.
Just thinking about what happened to those, made Stefan shudder.
While contemplating his next move, Stefan did not stop searching. Soon, with his intuition, he found eight books suitable for his current situation.

As Stefan walked towards the magician, he felt a peeping presence. Stefan did not turn around to check, but asked Heli.
"Heli, is there anyone following me?"
"Wait a minute, Host."
Heli scanned Stefan's surroundings but did not find anything suspicious. Nor someone who was following Stefan.
"Host, according to my detection, there is nothing suspicious around you."
Stefan pondered and decided to hide the fact about his intuition. In case, it backfired on him, he will not be able to afford the consequences.
"Maybe it's just my illusion."
Stefan hesitated, whether to tell Heli about his intuition, but decided against it. Reason? Naturally, it was his intuition warning him, not to tell it.
To distract Heli's attention from this matter, he opened the system panel and was surprised by the progress of the task.

{Thousands of years ago, this library used to be a powerful sect of cultivators. Many powerful cultivators, juniors, and young generations were trained here and then ascended to heaven. However, unlike the expectations, at some point, after ascending they all met a gruesome death. Unable to descend to the world, in desperation they decided to sacrifice their lives in order to warn the younger generations.
Unfortunately for them, the youngsters to whom they sent the warning did not take their warning seriously at all. Some of them even tried to ascend, despite their predecessor's efforts to stop them.
Many of them even initiated force and torture to check the results of the warning given by their predecessors. On the expense of having their souls scattered, the predecessor's tried to stop the talented individuals. Numerous cultivators thought of it as some kind of conspiracy by their competitors and, so, they did not listen to the instructions of their masters and still decided to ascend.
Unsurprisingly, none of them succeeded. The light that descends in order to help the cultivators for ascending, burned their strong bodies to ashes and their soul was scattered throughout the three realms.
This was actually a restriction placed by the predecessors in order to stop the younger generations from ascending. In addition, there was also a protection array in that, however, for some reason the array did not function, and those fellow cultivators suffered irreversible damage never to be reborn.
Facing the unknown crisis, the predecessors foresaw the future that contained destruction of the world with the help of some forbidden spells that costed them heavily. Immediately after that, powerful cultivators from these sects started disappearing for unknown reasons. When people organized search and rescue groups, they too disappeared unknowingly.
As the world progressed, the cultivators decided to stay indoors and practice to become more powerful in order to be ready to face any potential crisis in the future. The sects were disbanded and only a handful of cultivators remained to protect the legacies of these sects. After some time, they also grew old and died while protecting these legacies.
Watching as numerous sects were reduced to dust in no time. Cultivators decided to collect all these legacies and create a library on the top sect, named "Cloud Defying Sect". However, in order to avoid the competition for the resources, they disguised it is an ordinary library. And this library was far from anything but 'ordinary'...}
TASK: The host is required to find books suitable for the current physique in order to get the best possible cultivation technique. The books found by host will be merged, and their cultivation techniques will be compiled to form a new set of cultivation techniques.

Stardust_46 Hola, Bunnies!!!!! How are you?!! Is everyone okay? Did you miss me?
Since my Bunnies are well aware of me being a high-school teacher, I will not hide the reason for the delayed update.
Since these few months are basically the main time when the final exams are conducted, I have been busy with the exam procedures along with the enormous amount of paper correction.
Even after all this while, I still have 75 papers to check. Additionally, I have to submit all these papers to the supervisor before 10th April. Hence, I am in a rush and couldn't get the time to update the chapters.
I apologize for my inability to proceed with the agreed deadline. Hope my Bunnies are safe and sound.... Also, I miss you guys a lot!!!
