Capítulo 30: Rescue
The moment Esha thought she was going to die and even her body will not be intact, she decided to burn herself.
Just as she was about to use the meager amount of magic power in her body to burn herself, a white light shone in her peripheral vision.
She almost thought she was hallucinating. She was right to think so, because who will come deep inside the forest to save her, especially? Was it God who came to save her? She swore to herself, whoever it may be, she will do anything to repay that person!

Stefan didn't know that Esha was promising to repay him.
When Stefan arrived at the location, he almost thought Esha was dead and he was late. He dare not utter a word, fearing there would be no reply.
''Uh.... Help...Please..'', Esha decided to give a one last try.
Little did she know, this last try, gave her a new life. She didn't know that it was at this moment, her life took a new path.

Heli warned Stefan before he could call out Esha, 'Host, be careful. There is a tree demon attacking the target. You must not let the tree demon discover you!'
Stefan stepped lightly and tried hard not to let the tree demon discover him. He asked Heli to watch out for both the demon and the high-level assassin while he sneaked towards Esha to heal her.
As soon as he reached her, he started chanting the spell slowly, but then, he realized that Esha was only one step away from death. He asked Heli in his mind where exactly Esha was injured.
After scanning her, what Heli informed him was that her heart had a big hole in it. Stefan cast his special healing spell in the direction of her heart.
The tree demon noticed as soon as Esha's condition stabilized. The moment Stefan had arrived, he already observed the tree demon sneakily.
The demon was all shriveled and dry. The most striking feature was that, it had no eyes. The reason it was able to injure Esha was that it was able to sense the heat of her blood, which made it easier for the demon to sense its prey.
'Host..', just as Stefan was healing and observing. Heli interrupted his thought process.
'Hm?.. What happened Heli?'
'Host, the high-level assassin is not here at all! I have scanned the surroundings but couldn't find any trace of him!'

'That's absolutely right!, So, when he saw that the Princess was going to die soon, he must have thought that he did not need to do it personally. That was why he left from here.'
'He might have thought, that, even after, he left. The tree demon would still kill Esha. Furthermore, Esha was severely injured, so she will not be able to protect herself from the tree demon.', Stefan explained thoroughly to Heli.
.... Unknown to him, he had actually guessed the assassin's thought process correctly.
'Woah... Host, you are so smart! The assassin had planned everything, but he forgot that there are always unknown factors available in different types of situations.'
'He underestimated himself and the tree demon, obviously he could...'
Stefan stopped talking in his mind. As, he realized that, at some point of time, the tree demon had come closer. It was still moving stealthily, unaware of its own discovery.
Esha's heart was almost healed under Stefan's treatment, but she was still unconscious. In no time, he subconsciously put Esha in his space bracelet, because in his heart, he always thought, that the space bracelet was the most secure place.
After doing the action, he was stunned. Heli was also stunned. He never thought that the space bracelet could also be used like this.
After he checked the bracelet with his consciousness, he saw that Esha's body size has become smaller and has adjusted itself to the correct capacity.
He felt both excited and relieved at the same time. In this way, the monster cannot hurt Esha while he is fighting with the tree demon.

Stefan took out a Level-1 Recovery Potion from his system's inventory and drank it. After some time, he felt that his magic power was filled to the brim in his body.
He turned around and just happened to brush away the attack of the tree demon. His heart skipped a beat.
Thankfully, he turned around. Otherwise, from the power of that attack, he would have broken almost all the bones present in his body. He is just a Level-1 magician, adding to that, he only knows a healing spell.

Stefan decided not to attack actively, but defend passively and hide somewhere first.
''Whoosh....'', another branch attacked him and his arm immediately had a bloody trail on it, he couldn't hide in time, as two branches attacked him at the same time.
''Sssss.....'', Stefan hissed in pain and tried to heal it, before the demon could sense him through his blood. A green light appeared from his palm and immediately healed the wound.
Despite being quick, the blood had already seeped in his white clothes, looking very glaring.
