Mondays were usually busy with management meetings and catching up on every department. Zoya and I discussed Killian’s plan for Deputy Director Dante of the CIA and the Washington DC Directors.

It was noon when Uncle Nemesio knocked on the door and walked into my office, surprising me.

“Sir.” I stood up in greeting.

“Linus, what is this nonsense about Director Vance and Arran Deo moving into Killian's extension house?” he said, his features hard.

“You heard right,” I stated, raising my arm to politely indicate that he should sit down.

He sat down on the couch in front of my desk. “Why would you condone it? Do you know that we will be exposed?”

“Exposed to what, Uncle Nemesio?” I inquired, sitting back down.

“Are you pretending to be stupid,” he demanded.

“What do you mean?” I feigned innocence again.

“Where the hell is Killian? Does he want the CIA who believe that Daxia is dead to catch him? How dare he invite those two into his home!”
