Jason realized that he might have no choice, this parasite was far too strong and he could hear the gunshots in the distance gradually reduce, this told him that they were falling one by one.

It would only be a matter of time until everyone was dead.

Jason looked up at the moon and took a deep breath as he knew what he had to do.

This parasite was the core, which means that Jason could find a way to keep all under zombies in check.

"Chronos, I give up," Jason muttered to his system.

[[I don't quite understand what you mean.]]

Chronos responded but Jason let go of the weapon in his hand; with this, he allowed his aura to leak and in doing so, allowed himself to be found.

[[Are you sure this is the right choice?]] 

Chronos requested but Jason didn't know any other way and he had already destroyed his relationship with Rachel, maybe this was for the best.
