I extended my hand to Lyros, shaking it firmly as we struck a deal. 

Lyros reached into a hidden pocket of a dark robe that had materialized over his body when he appeared, producing an intricate stone device. 

It was shaped like an oval, with a shimmering, dark-blue gemstone embedded in the center. Mysterious runes adorned its edges, and a faint, ominous aura emanated from the device. It seemed to pulse with hidden power.

He extended the device towards me, and naturally, I took it cautiously, studying the curious object in his hand. "What's this?" I asked just in case if he was willing to provide an explanation.

Lyros leaned in and began to explain, his voice carrying a sense of gravitas. "This is a one-time-use communication stone. If you find yourself in a dire situation and need my assistance, break the stone, and I will appear next to you, regardless of the circumstances."
