Without William and the Shadow Seraph, things at Emberfall City were continuing as usual. In his absence, nothing much had changed about the city. The whole City still looked the same. 

Those boring tall walls surround the city....

The Azure City that runs through the city....

and the people who were continuing with their own lives.

Everything about it was still the same.

Emberfall wasn't as beautiful as Northpine City, and it wasn't as diverse as Ironhall City. Despite all that, as soon as the Emberfall City appeared in their view, William and Isabella had a sense of peace within their hearts. 

This place might not be the most beautiful city or the most diverse city, but this place had something that no other city had. And this was the feeling of being at home.
