Capítulo 158: Towards the Edge of Life and Death

With the red sun casting its pink hues over the majestic mountain peak, Midas gathered his Council for what he believed, or at least hoped, to be his last meeting while in this second Trial, the Trial of Life and Death. 

As he walked toward the Council building, Midas couldn't help but notice the snow beneath his feet that seemed to have been dyed pink, glowing resplendently under the sunlight. The black scales of the dragons shimmered like obsidian, the light giving life to their forms.

It had been three days now and the black veil that had covered the planet seemed to move away as it did the first time a few hours ago, making everyone celebrate in wonder.
