Capítulo 29: Heller's Assault

Jessica watched her brother for some seconds before she nodded and bent over to kiss him on the cheek. They were the ones that shared a mother – the king's first wife and they have been close since birth.

Stephan had been given the title of 'Crown Prince' when he had clocked 17 years of age and that was a few years after he'd lost his mother to the same illness that he suffered from now. He was kind and followed his father and learned closely the secrets of leading a successful empire. Stephan was level-headed and didn't see the need to punish or subdue humans unnecessarily like he saw other vampires so. He always spoke to his father about some wrongs that he noticed among the nobles and watched as the king addressed them. Stephan missed his father and wished that he could be cured of what was keeping him in slumber.
