"Mario," our father's voice sliced through the thick tension with utter ease as he climbed down the stairs, "This is not the right time or place."

"But how could you let this happen?" Mario stressed as he glanced at Campbell, "I don't believe he deserves my hospitality after what he did to Tory."

"Nor do I believe the same," Pa frowned, "But unfortunately that is for Olly to decide, not us. Now let us not make a scene and get going. You're more than welcome to voice your concerns once we are in the comfort of our four walls within the Palace."

My brother did not know how to respond to that as he clenched his jaw and looked away from all of us. Alex was pleading with him to just calm down and even though Mario was as stubborn as a mule at least he had more sense than me. He shook his head as he let out a frustrated sigh then took my hand in his, "Very well, but Olly drives with me."
