It was late that night that Cardan finally woke up.

The room was dark and cold with the windows closed and the moon shinning through the window. Which immediately indicated to him that he had been out for eleven days.

He groaned in frustration and as he tried to sit-up he felt someone lying on top of him. When he looked down he saw that it was Wren. She was asleep on the chair with her head on his chest.

She was wearing his black cashmere sweater with his long black coat. The only thing pink was her jeans. Her hair was a bit messy and as he moved to inhale her scent he discovered that she smelled like him.

Did she use his perfume.

He smiled softly at her as he brushed his hand through her hair with his uninjured arm. She looked beautiful as always.

The tear stains on her face made him stop for a moment his hands turning into a fist before softening and wiping her tears away.
