"Did you here about that girl what was her name... Marielle"

"Oh you mean the one in year ten the super pretty one..?"

"Not anymore apprently she was robbed and the thugs beat her up before she could even try to run away and now her face is..." the girl shivered.

Whispers of new gossip where moving around the whole school.

"I hope the girl is okay" Brianna held her arms together as she set in front of Noa and Cardan.

Noa nodded along with her "Why would they do something so cruel to her?"

"I don't know" Cardan murmured with his arms folded. They where now currently in the theatre club. Cardan had come to pay Noa a surprise visit when he heard what had happened.

But for some reason Cardan felt like something was off with what happened to the girl. It felt off. Too off, he just couldn't put a finger to it.

Brianna sneered. The girl wasn't stupid after all. After she hit the girl she made sure to threaten her about harming her family. It seemed that it worked given the story.

"Is she still going to school here?" Cardan asked Noa as he pulled her closer to him kissing her forehead.

Noa pushed him away and moved her eyes to Brianna as if telling him not here. Cardan rolled his eyes but moved his lips from her but his arms still remained on her as he moved his hand from her shoulders to her hand on her lap.

That didn't last long as she pushed his hand away. He had it coming but Cardan couldn't help but pout it wasn't his fault physical touch was one of his love languages.

"From what I've heard no. She's going to be home schooled going from now and her family is moving too." Noa answered.

"That's good" Brianna said, she wouldn't have to keep reminding her of the consequences she would face if she messed with her again not even death would save her.

"How is that good the girl just had her whole life ruined in a matter of days!" Noa exclaimed a bit, but seeing the look on Brianna's face she calmed down.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you but the why you put it made me a bit sensitive"

Brianna sneered in her heart but waved her hand at her to tell her that it was fine.

Cardan ignored her as he looked at the time. Miss Fan called for a debate meeting so he had to leave now.

"I have to go debate is about to start" Cardan sighed as he stood up kissing her head in the process. He moved to the ground and gave her a small bag filled with food.

"Cardan..."

"No nothing you've bearly eaten today so I made you some food you can keep the lunch box okay" he told her gentlely as he held her hand.

Brianna wanted to gag. Since he couldn't afford to order food for her he made it. How pathetic.

Noa noticed the look that Brianna gave and felt embrassed.

"Yeah just go" she said as she pushed him away holding the bag of food with her.

Cardan looked at her gentlely as he pulled her chin up and kissed both of her cheeks "I'll call you later okay" with that he nodded at Brianna and left.

As soon as he left Brianna turned back to Noa and began speaking "I still don't trust him."

"Why he's sweet, caring and kind he even cooked for me. Which guy would ever do that" Noa defended softly.

Brianna rolled her eyes.

"Noa he started dating you after you star'ed in a movie. It's pretty obvious he started dating you after you made some money. He just wants to leach of you-"

"No he doesn't he even has a job as a virtual assistant and you know they make enough money. He-"

"So what if he makes money it still doesn't amount to the same amount a celebrity would make. He even cooked for you for all I know he could be preparing you so that you won't be surprised when he wants to be a house husband leaching off of you" Brianna finished.

Noa paused in dismay and surprise "...I don't know what else to tell you but Cardan isn't like that I swear. I just wish you could see that."

"Noa he brought you food and told you to eat as if he wants to control your life and he knows you 'barely eat' I'm sorry but that just sounds like stalking" Brianna said completely ignoring what Noa had said.

The smell of the food was beginning to make her hungry considering how good it smelled. She grabbed it away from her and as she opened it she was met with rice balls and takoyuko with a few veggies mixed in with pork.

The food looked good, she grabbed the rice balls dazed.

"Do you want some, I don't mind sharing with you" Noa said knocking Brianna out of her thought process.

Brianna embrassed sneered and squished the rice balls with her hands and pieces of meat came out.

Noa stood up in shock "Brianna!" but it was already too late she had thrown all the food in the garbage.

Noa stood frozen as she looked at the food. Brianna shoved the lunch box to hands.

"All this talk about food has made me hungry. Let's order from the Dai restaurant" seeing that Noa remained unmoving she rolled her eyes annoyed "Noa you'll thank me later now lets go" pulling her away with her they left the theatre room.

Sighing she turned back to Noa "I just want the best for you okay, I'm sorry if I came of as rude but..."

Noa looked at her and seeing something in her eyes she nodded at it "It's fine really, I know that you where just worried... just don't do that again"

Brianna grined "Now let's go."

Noa turned back to the food for the last time before following her. Brianna's words hadn't changed anything but they did plant a seed of doubt.
