Capítulo 57: Chapter 57

Cardan held Noa's hand gentlely as he took her to Dai restaurant. Boss Dai removed the tent and built it making it new better bigger and safer.

She also hired chef's that where off from cutlery school and struggled to find jobs although they had talent. New food was also added to the menu which made it the top restaurant in town.It had a metallic feel to it.

"Tell me again why we're going on a date?" Noa asked as she looked at him. She had been busy finalizing her next script for the school and starting another when Cardan immediately pulled her away as soon as she was done with her first and took her out.

Cardan rolled his eyes teasingly "You may have forgotten, again but we promised to go on a date today and you almost forgot because you where busy." Cardan pouted as they took a turn.

He barely noticed the look of gulit on her face "No don't feel guilty now. You where busy doing something you enjoy and you got in the zone nothing out of the ordinary" Cardan stated.

Noa sighed as a soft smile appeared on her face "Cardan could you get even more perfect"

Cardan chuckled as the entered the doors if the restaurant and where immediately greeted at the door by five waiters. One immediately greeted them politely and took them to a table after Cardan showed them a VIP card that basically books a table for them whenever.

Cardan pulled the chair for her and as soon as she set down he pushed it back in. Noa couldn't help but blush as her eyes followed Cardan.

He was truly a gentleman.

"Plus we'll barely have enough time to go out with extra classes and exams"Cardan spoke as he reserved his menu.

Bulgogi and jjigae along with more dishes where ordered by both Cardan and Noa whom immediately began eating. They ate in a comfortable silence with a few talks here and there.

Everything was going well until Now suddenly dropped her chop sticks and immediately went for the cloth spitting out the food in her mouth.

Cardan immediately moved towards her in worry "Was there something in the food" he held her hand as his eyes moved to the cloth.

"No it's just I realised the food had too many fats" she sighed and Cardan narrowed his eyes in surprise.

"What's wrong with having fats in your food?" Cardan asked as he pulled his chair towards her seating directly in front of her.

Noa shook her had "It's just that there's a certain weight I want to maintain and the company I signed for said I shouldn't gain any more weight" Cardan frowned at her words.

"You could always lose it when you exercise you know" Cardan said, they had begun running together and he didn't doubt that she'd lose weight as much as she gained.

But it still bothered Cardan a bit, she hadn't even eaten that much and she was already worried about her weight.

"Cardan" Noa called as she turned her head to him in worry"Are you okay"

"I'm fine it's just that it bothers me that that company has you worrying over your weight. It just makes me think like that they're toxic" Cardan finished with a frown.

Noa gave him a look of surprise before answering "Maybe I don't know...but for now I have to eat healthier okay" she murmured the last bit.

"But promise you'll at least eat and don't bother trying to starve yourself okay" Cardan said as he eyes Noa worryingly.

Noa looked away but reluctantly nodded.

A sign of relief left his lips before a small smile took over his features "No-" Cardan was cut off by Noa's ringing phone.

Noa gave him an apologic look before answering.

A frown appeared on her face before hanging up.

"Did something happen" Cardan asked worryingly.

Noa nodded "The drama department needs a script that we planned to start today but I've left it at home. I'm so sorry Cardan but I have to go"

Cardan although sad nodded in understanding. He had picked her up albeit for her it was a surprise she still had work to do.

"I understand and you don't need to apologize and don't worry I'll accompany you there if you don't mind" Cardan said as he called the waiter over to pay the bill.

He took her hand in his and the left the restaurant just as quickly as they had arrived.
