Capítulo 45: Chapter 45
Cardan, Zaden,Easton and Remy watched as the construction team began to work.
Boss Dai had instructed them to prepare food for them and help where they could.
A few trees had already been cut down but it wasn't so much as to destroy the ecosystem. There where still trees there.
What made this place even more beautiful was that it was in front of a beautiful mountain range as if the lake wasn't enough.
Zaden and Easton had joined in to help the construction workers while Remy and Cardan feed them after that they would switch and Remy and Cardan would be the ones helping the construction workers while Zaden and Easton prepared dinner.
This would go on for weeks.
Of course they still had to attend debate practice and Cardan still had to go over when ever Wren called. Sometimes he'd arrive at their house and David would be there and if free they would indulge in a long conversation about business which would lead to other discussions like sports and what not.
"So you've decided to go for speech therapy" Cardan said as Remy nodded at him.
It was now six at night and everyone was having their dinner.
"About damn time" Easton said as Zaden and Cardan immediately threw punches to his shoulders.
"N-No g-guys he is-n't wro-ng. B-before th-is I w-as af-raid." Remy stuttered.
"Well it's good to know that you somewhat conquered your fear" Zaden said as he moved his chop sticks to the food that Easton was aiming for.
"Zaden if you're starving just say so. After all there's nothing wrong with feeding the needy" Easton said in a condescending manner.
Zaden's eyes twitched.
Zaden and Easton had been at each other's throats since the construction started and they hadn't stopped going after each other's throats.
"So what will we be doing tomorrow considering its another break for us?" Easton said as he stabbed his way through all the vegetables.
"Let's go on a hike" Cardan suggested.
"Well that doesn't sound bad?"Zaden responded.
"Plus it'll be a good way to test the place out for ourselves and get to know it" Easton added.
"T-then i-it's s-ettled" Remy replied.
After getting the equipment they needed they would began their adventure the next day.
"Easton's late" Zaden stated.
"No shit Sherlock" Cardan replied.
Remy just shook his head in amusement by now he was already used to their antics. In this group he seemed to play the role of moderator not that he minded.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear" Zaden murmured as Easton came running his cheeks aflame.
As soon as he arrived next to them he began breathing heavily "Sorry I missed my alarm"
"It's fine it's not like we waited 42 minutes for your arrival sleeping beauty" Zaden said as he rolled his eyes.
"I'm not even surprised underprivileged people seem to complain about everything. Blame it on the rich they say" Easton bit back.
"Please don't tell me this is reference to what happened last night Easton" Cardan said as touched his nose in annoyance.
"What was that sleeping beauty I couldn't hear you over your loud snores" Zaden exclaimed.
"And I'm being ignored" Cardan shook his head in dismay.
"I'm not the one eating shit on the streets" Easton returned.
"And now their being delusional" Cardan murmured as he began to move away from those two after noticing a few people giving them weird looks.
"We don't know who they are" Cardan said as he pulled Remy along with him.
"Imagine fighting over something that isn't even real. Could never be me" Cardan told Remy as they where a distance away from Easton and Zaden who where following from behind while arguing.
"Do yo-u t-h-ink we sh-ould do so-m-ething be-fore th-ey try to kill -each ot-her" Remy said as he turned around to look at them and they where going at it.
"Nope, I say let em kill each other that way we'll have peace" Cardan replied. In fact if Easton died he wouldn't have any competition for the heart of Noa.
Speaking of Noa she along with Brianna had gone to the city to visit Noa and Zaden's aunt.
Remy sighed. Cardan was another issue he was like the drama queen in the group. He lived for the drama.
"Gu-ys s-top fighting!!!" all eyes turned to Remy who was breathing heavily as if he said the hardest sentence.
"Did I hear wrong or did Remy not stutter his last word" Easton said to no one in particular.
"Me agreeing would be saying my hearing is as bad as yours" Zaden replied which earned him a slap from Easton.
Zaden was dazed for a second.
"I've met four year olds who hit harder than you" Zaden said after he managed to calm down.
"I still have better grades courtesy of studying with Mia" as soon as Easton said that it was as if a bucket of water had been thrown on Zaden.
"Oh he said Mia's name" Cardan said as he moved back a little.
Before anything could happen Remy threw Zaden at Cardan and held Easton. He didn't need to say anything to explain what he meant.
"N-ow let's con-tinu-e o-ur jo-ur-ney" Remy gritted out.
The three where speechless before continuing their hike.
