Meanwhile Cardan looked at the list that ended at a hundred and something learners. The lowest learn got a 30.99% mark.
Cardan couldn't help but ask himself if this person studied or tried to at least.
Zaden found himself quiet quickly but his eyes remind on Mia's name. Easton just looked at his name and when went back to class.
"I heard you where the highest in the accounting and mathematics paper" Zaden said as soon as he managed to move his eyes from Mia's name.
Cardan just shrugged his shoulders "What can I say numbers come naturally to me especially when it conserns money.
Zaden rolled his eyes "Of cause it does"
The two soon made their way to class. Cardan's eyes found Austin. The guy had been silent for a while and based on the 40.67% he got and what Wren had told him he'd be going to summer school.
Cardan didn't care much as long as he'd be out of their hair for a while now.
As soon as they arrived in class they were met with a few new students that had come from the B class. Which meant that some A students had been pushed back not that Zaden and Cardan cared much.
"Congratulations on you marks Easton" Cardan slapped Easton's back as he went to his seat which earned him a glare from Easton.
Zaden shook as head as he took a seat "You should stop slapping his back he may take it as assult and file a lawsuit against you"
"With what evidence and we're friends now" Cardan shrugged as he put his legs on the table.
Zaden rasied an eyebrow at him "Since when where the two of you friends?"
"Since the day he tried helping me with accounting although he's been out for my life after finding out that I got a total in the test making him second he's been out for my life ever since." Cardan shuddered.
"How'd he even find out" Zaden inquired as his eyes moved to the window.
"Our teacher asked if he could collect for him the five highest and lowest students papers and bom he found out."
"I see, then I guess you two aren't fighting for my sister anymore" Zaden said.
"... We've come to an agreement. What are you looking at anywa- Mia I should have known" Cardan exclaimed quietly as Zaden pushed his face away.
Mia was with her sister Cora, they seemed to be talking about something as they made their way out of the school an older strict woman was next to them as they left.
Cora had managed to become the debate captain and told them that from six in the morning too ten they'd be practicing and preparing for debate competitions.
Cardan sighed his summer vacation would be different from all his other vacations.
Unlike when he would travel and be in different countries each week he'd be working a lot attending club activities and taking part in creating a business this time.
He was already tired just thinking about it.
"You coming to my house or I'm coming to yours" Cardan asked the distracted Zaden who shook himself back to focus.
"...I'll come to yours and from there we'll go to boss Dai" Zaden said.
After school ended Cardan immediately went home and took a quick bath before going to visit boss Dai.
Will he was walking he remembered the large lake with large land surrounding it with no houses. He did some digging and discovered that the original owner had been wanting to sell it for a while but because he had no experience and no connections he thought many did not find it appealing so the price had dropped from 500 000CLR to 34 000CLR.
Which was all in all a good price. Plus the owner was moving to a different country to go live with his daughter.
As soon as he arrived at the grocery store Cardan nodded at John who returned his greeting and Easton who was still in his uniform scoffed at him.
He knocked at the door and heard a quiet come in. He entered and seat down after Boss Dai told him to.
"So I went and looked at the lake you where talking about and I do admit the pricing wasn't much considering how large the place was but..." she paused as she took a cup of tea.
Cardan waited patiently for her.
"But cutting down the trees and let alone building will be expensive. I may as well end up in debt because of such a project which would end with Easton having nothing to rely on if all doesn't go well in university"
My plan was for her to build a resort there and a restaurant there preferably a restaurant made of more then one shipping container.
"I know where you're coming from boss Dai but think of the profits you could make and you don't have to worry about some of the money I already know a few." Cardan finished as he added internally you could also pay the construction workers in installments.
"Cardan I can't think of profits when concerning the future of my child after all this could end up not working in the long run. You are bright but I can't help you Cardan." She finished.
Cardan wasn't surprised he expected this but no one said it'd be this hard but hey you learn from rejection "I understand boss Dai but I'm still not giving up. If I may add as well when this business becomes successful just think of how Easton's future will be after this" with that Cardan stood up and made his way to the door as soon as he he opened it he was met by an easedropping Easton.
Easton cleared his throat as he fixed his glasses pretending as if he didn't hear anything.
"You're leaving already" Easton inquired as he looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Mmmh yes I still need to catch on my sleep since this exams began my sleeping schedule had been messed up" Cardan replied as he moved towards the door.
"Will it really be successful" Easton suddenly said.
Cardan pasued "You're a commerce student yourself what do you think. After all there's no reward without a bit of risk" was all Cardan said before he left.
Easton stood at the same place for a while. He knew the lake Cardan was taking about. It was very clean and very clear too. The land around it wasn't the only large aspect about it but the lake was large as well.
If his plan really did succeed it would not only make his mother rich but it would help the rural place to develop even further then it already was.
As if having had made his mind up he knocked on his mother's door a quiet come in was heard.
His mother was laying on her chair in deep thought before she turned to him.
"You heard everything" she was the first to speak.
Easton nodded.
Boss Dai let a sigh out of her lips "Seat down we have a lot to talk about"
