Looking at the kingdom which stood on a large number of snails similar to a Den Den Mushi, that were interlocked together to make the kingdom.
Brook felt contemplated, he didn't have any plans to meet the Germa 66 now, but here he was right now, looking at the German from high above.
So, quickly deciding upon something, he went near the German kingdom and started using his observation haki to the maximum.
He found many interesting things upon his observation, there were human experiments, and weapon manufacture in many parts of the island.
Finding a small, lone presence in an underground cell, Brook muttered, "That must be Sanji".
As he was observing other things a loud noise started going, alarming everyone.
Soon enough there were armies of solder dressed in a white mask, with a 66 written in their body.
Looking at this Brook landed in the middle of them, looking around he didn't see any high-ranked person of significance.
All, the soldiers around him started shouting at him to surrender, and other gibberish he didn't listen to.
Feeling the noise he decided to take care of it first.
He started producing an eternal green glow throughout his body, his insides were glowing with an eternal green wisp.
As he was glowing green, the soldiers started shooting at him out of caution and fright.
Heeding the bullets with no mind, Brook concentrated on gathering all the green light toward his chest.
His chest had a green glowing orb, the word was located around the middle of his ribs, so after gathering enough energy he released it.
The light moved in a circular wave parallel to the ground.
It passed through people without any problems.
After the green wave passed through them, everyone was standing still in a trance, with no sign of movement.
Looking at the sight Brook observed everyone, this was his first time using this technique on a human.
This was one of the abilities he developed after his devil fruit awakening.
He could gather his soul energy and release it in any direction he preferred.
It was like conquerors haki but not like it at the same time.
If his theory wasn't wrong, then conquerors should be able to influence physical matter, like how a shank causes cracks on white beards ship. But unlike normal conquerors,s his ability was more related to the soul.
It could only be applied to the soul, without causing any interaction with the physical world.
He didn't quite understand what a 'will' was, but through his experiment, he discovered that he could only use haki when in his body, he can't get out in his soul form and use haki.
But the power he currently used is different, he could use it even in his soul form. Similarly what he thought was advanced observation haki, which allowed him to increase his senses and also have a long-distance observation turned out to be related to his soul.
Looking at everyone frozen he observed them through his soul sense which allowed him to observe the soul of a person.
He realized everyone's soul seemed to be bound by a green thermal wisp, immobilizing them. The souls of the people were trying to remove them but, some were fast whereas others were slow in doing so.
After observing them for a while he went towards where Sanji was.
As he was entering a stair that went downwards, he was blocked by guards, knocking the guards down Brook spoke, "Hmm, seems like the attack didn't reach the underground area."
As he continued moving he saw a young girl with pink hair and a pink dress along with a purple scarf hurriedly running down the stairs.
Looking at this, he swiftly approached her and whispered from behind, "careful there, or you might be the victim of fall down D stair."
Hearing the unfamiliar sound, Reiju quickly turned around and stood on guard.
She cautiously asked, "Who are you."
Pointing his finger at himself, Brook replied
" me!.."
"Ah, you can call me Mr bones."
Still maintaining her vigilance against the unknown person, Reiju asked while taking slow steps backward, "So, why are you here"
Brook replied in a cheerful tone" To visit Sanji, if I am not mistaken he is still down there isn't he."
Listening to this, Reiju felt that this unknown person had come with bad intentions, so she immediately kicked him in the shin while shouting," I won't let you meet him."
Standing unfazed, he asked sounding amused, "Oh! And why is that? Is it something that concerns you"
Reiju quickly shot back while continuing to attack Brook," Because he is my brother"
Hearing that, Brook let out an amused chuckle and said, "Is that so, or is that you want validation and love, causing you to take care of him."
Brook continued," Let's be real, he is the only one who barely cares for you now isn't he, Oh! on that note is there anyone who actually cared for you, well your father is a scientist who sees his children as just a tool, and your mother also considered you as a tool of your father didn't she?
Hearing that, Reiju shot back in rage "No, she loved me"
Brook sneered," Is that so? Isn't it common for a mother to love for child unconditionally, though? But her true love was only received by Sanji, wasn't it? You could hear it in her voice, the fondness she had while talking about Sanji. But what about you? Has she ever praised you like Snaji?
Reiju just started back with teary eyes.
Brook continued without stopping," See that nobody loves you, now or in the future, you will forever be used like a tool by your father and when you can no longer offer anything, he will toss you out the same way as Sanji, won't he."
Hearing all this, Reiju burst into tears and started wailing.
