Capítulo 19: Back to the old ship.
Looking at the aftermath of his attack, the brown-haired pirate had a look of utter despair.
The attack he had poured all his emotions, and the last ounces of his strength, amounted to nothing.
The skeleton stood unhindered, with seemingly not a single scratch on his body.
Losing all hope, he fell to his knees gasping for air with his energy spent.
As he was wallowing in despair, he heard a voice.
"Whoa, how unexpected; a scratch"
As the pirate looked up he saw a skeleton looking at his bony finger.
"Color me an impressed brat, to be able to scratch me. I shall let you live for now".
The skeleton pointed his finger toward him,
In a desperate attempt to glimpse at his life's greatest accomplishment, he lifted his head with hazy eyes to observe the finger.
With dim eyes, he could barely discern a thin scratch, so small that it couldn't even be noticed without a proper inspection.
Seeing that, he lost the last of his awareness and fell face-first into the ground.
After an unknown amount of time,
In an old ship, with a broken mast and creaking wood. A person was laying unconscious in the rear of the ship.
As the sound of waves crashing waves sounded in the background, the person slowly opened his eyes.
Finding himself in a rather foggy place, he tried to discern his surrounding, before he could properly observe his surrounding.
He felt immense pain in his head as if it was splitting in two, he clutched his head to relieve some of the pain, he was feeling.
After clutching his head for a while, he slowly recalled the events of meeting a skeleton with a large afro.
Recalling everything, he started to wonder if he was in a bad dream.
As he became clear-minded he started to observe his surroundings further.
Feeling a tall shadow behind him, he slowly turned his head around. Standing behind him was a tall skeletal figure, with a tall stature of around thrice his size.
The skeletal figure had a head similar to that of a serpent, its body looked like an armor of bone held together by something.
Upon further observation, he noticed that there were around a few dozen of such skeletal figures, all of different sizes and designs.
As he moved between the skeletal figures cautiously, he was startled by an abrupt voice from somewhere.
After a while, he recalled hearing the voice somewhere, it was from one of the captives that was especially loud.
As he was busy remembering the voice,
He was met with an unexpected sight, the familiar skeleton with an afro was once again standing in front of him.
Before he could react to the abrupt appearance of the skeleton.
The skeleton spoke, "Now that you have woken up, would you mind answering some of my questions?"
As the brown-haired guy was about to answer,
He was interrupted by a question,
"When did the pirate king, Gol D Roger get executed"
The pirate, afraid of the skeleton, answers immediately.
"Five years ago."
After hearing the answer to the question, an awkward silence played out for a while.
Just as the pirate was about to feel too uncomfortable. He was once again asked a question.
" Do you have a log pose "
Once again an answer came immediately
"No"
The questioning session continued for a while satisfying the curiosity of Brook.
As the questions came to an end, Brook went inside the cabin and started contemplating the current situation.
Looks like things didn't exactly go as planned.
Firstly, he miscalculated the time by around a year.
Secondly, despite finding a lost ship, he couldn't find a way out of this place.
So, he started formulating a new plan, while considering the current shift taking place.
