It's just too good. This is one of the few novels that I actually finished.
I wanted Lena and June to end up together or they should have Lena and lei dating each other one of these would have made the story a must favorite for me! All in all story was almost perfect!

An awesome story about a guy that didn't want to be an idol at first and ended up being the best in the business. WILL DEFINITELY READ AGAIN!!!
everything is just really well written imo although sometimes the side quests June receives can get a little repetitive and predictable its still a good read

I simply love this novel. For me, it is a masterpiece that captures you from the first moment. Each page envelops you more and more, and when you least expect it, you have already passed more than 100 chapters. This story fascinates me deeply, and I really recommend that you give it a chance. The author has such a fluid and exciting narrative that makes you feel every emotion of the characters. When I found this wonderfull Story it already had over 800 chapters,I caught up quickly that should tell you how awesome it is. Sometimes there may be a little unnecessary drama but it's always worth it hearing June's words of wisdom in the end.[img=Loving it][img=Loving it][img=Loving it]
Kept me engaged from the first chapter to the last. Never got boring, which, with 1000+ chapters, is an incredible achievement.
While there are quite a few good novels on Webnovel, From Thug to Idol is my favorite. The story encompasses a wide range of emotions at various times, and it's easy to become invested in the characters and the story arcs for each "book" within the novel. SandKastle also wrote the lyrics for several songs his characters sing. 👍 It would be neat if this story could become a movie and the songs would be sung.
It's completely perfect, I think I fall in love even more every time I re-read it. I think it was the first story that really captivated me, I laughed, it bothered me, and above all I cried, there are very deep moments in this story, and it makes me think a lot about my life, I totally recommend it.

I have read many web novels and I have to say this is in my top 5. The story is not predictable, the character are amazing and the author sometimes be writing some philosophical stuff. I started read this when there was like 300 chapters and not once have I go bored of reading it. A bittersweet moment for me.
I never really liked reading novels but this one got me hooked. It has good story development even though it can get frustrating at times. It updates every day with 2 chapters sometimes 1. It’s well written other than the typos from time to time but overall it’s good and you should give it a try. Amazing work Sandkastle.

Can't say enough good about this story. Well written, well plotted, and best of all, character driven despite being a system book. Highly recommend! Like Spinal Tap, this one goes to 11!
Very good novel with a broad perspective and i wish a lot of kpop fans can read this to learn thst idols are human too keep up the good work author
I'm a bit reluctant to read it at first, actually, as I'm an avid fan of Quick Transmigration Novels, wherein they'll portrait novels with a main character that has a system, to be you know, a bit unfair to the people without it who's working hard to achieve something, but with a system they'll be in a smooth sailing ride to the top. But as I kept on reading (specifically up until I read to chapter 5), I was completely hooked on the story! I love our black kitty mc~ He's so hardworking that I keep on crying whenever he's caught up in a scandal or they're treating him really badly. The other characters too! It's like all of the characters in the story have a role to play! But sadly, I've caught up now, so I have to stockpile again... I LOVEEE YAH SANDYYY!!! ♡
This story is awesome, I really love to binge read it when I can. That said can anyone who read past chapter 663 spoil the next 10-30 chapters for me please? I'm a little bit too nervous to continue.
