Capítulo 11: Training - Season 1 - Chapter 6
I completely forgot to mention that when writing Setsuna Tokage's name I mentioned in the little notes that her first name was Tokage, this was because I was reading the Dub Manga which fixed the Last-First name and actually switched it to First-Last name, so Setsuna is actually her first name. Also it said they would be getting their letter in 2 weeks not 1 like in canon. That actually wasn't a mistake, things changed, even small things like that. Though I will say the Entrance Exam did also take place a week early, this is due to schooling times, so Canon won't change when it comes to that.
Also a little note, during the Entrance Exam the MC activated 10x Gravity during the point of impact, normally humans couldn't stand under this gravity, including the MC. The MC himself has natural resistance towards such abilities but not to the point he could stand, even under 5x Gravity he could barely kneel. The only reason the MC wasn't hurt during the Exam is because he only did it during the point of impact and immediately flipped it off after point of impact.

MC POV (Next Day)
A week, I've got a week to do as I want until I get my letter, I can almost guarantee my passing do to my fight with the 0 Pointer alone.
I find my self heading towards the library of the orphanage, it's empty.
The library itself is moderate size, something similar to a study room, it has a long table in the middle used for home schooling sessions, or group study. There are a few bean bags in the corners, but not many as the room can only be so big due to this only being an orphanage.
The orphanage is actually a lot bigger than normal as the only other one we had in the nearby area was in Omaezaki, but after the incident they figured it would be best to expand this one here in Musutafu as they remade the old one, though they have yet to do so even after all these years.
I take a seat at one of the table's end seats, placing a Rubik's Cube on the table.
26 Cubes, that's how many sides a Rubik's Cube has.
Placing my left hand on the top of the cube I start focusing my gravity ability on the core of the cube, creating something similar to an orb around the core, 26 spike like objects connecting to the outer 'shell' (Cubes).
A bit of basic control training I came up with, by creating a spike like ball at its center I can control the center of the cube, though this is only a 「Orb of Repulsion」, it's not emitting a repulsion energy so the cube stays still.
The main point of this exercise is control and precision, forming the spikey orb is only the first step.
Lifting my hand while keeping my quirk active I send a light and constant amount of energy out of the bottom center cube, this makes the cub float a couple inches off of the table, it almost looks like I'm using telekinesis, though it's not too different.
Long ranges combat is something tricky for me to do as my quirk is touch based, or so people thought.
「Gravitational Energy Manipulation」, that's what I would call my quirk, it's still gravity manipulation but due to my ability to control my life-force in a way I managed to replicate a form of Energy Manipulation, though no one else knows that I have gained this Pseudo/Forced Awakening as I've deemed it.
By keeping my energy linked to an object I can use that energy as a focal point for using my quirk.
Focusing on the energy in the cube I send a bit of repulsion energy through the top-middle spike, the energy exits the center, though instead of it going straight up it goes left, at the same time I do the exact opposite on the bottom-middle this time sending it right.
The middle turns, section of the cube turns completely as if I had used my own hands to turn the Cube. I spend about 15 minutes doing this before a complete cube rests in front of me.
I immediately re-scrambled the cube, 'time to kick it up a notch'.
Standing from my seat leaving the cube on the table, the energy still present in it though resting on the table's surface instead of air.
I take a seat on the opposite end as I close my eyes focusing on where the energy is present, focusing on the gravity that's naturally around the cube, letting all the energy in the room flow through my senses,
I slowly dissipate my energy present in the cube, waiting a minute or two I create the orb again in the cube, this time instead of creating energy from my hand and placing it in the cube I focus on the gravity that naturally rests in and around the room.
After about a minute the cube floats up the orb back in its core.
'It really is far easier with my eyes open' I sigh out into my mind, most would assume using my senses would make this easier, but it's the opposite, by seeing my target I can, in a form, see the gravitational energy surrounding it allowing me to access it easier, but with my eyes closed I am instead feeling it's energy and tapping into it forcefully.
By doing this exercise it helps build long range combat abilities, most would assume I can already do long-range combat but they would be wrong, during my Entrance Exam I would send out attractive energy through my hand, that energy would then travel to my target and pull it towards me, this instead starts on the objects allowing instant control.
Also since this is energy if I just sent the energy out it could be dodged or resisted a lot easier, something I found early on is that people can break free from my energy by using their own life-force energy.
The cube clatters on the table as I start my final training of the day.
I pull a book into my left hand and the cube into my right.
Immediately sending the cube into the air I start sending repulsive energy through it making it seem like a form of telekinesis.
The cube flies around like similar to how All-Might does it, propulsion, the I lower the amount of force it sends out so instead of hard and fast turns it is instead slow and soft ones.
As the cube flies I attempt to insert attractive energy allowing objects to chase it, but instead of leaving it at that I make the dual energies match the shape and output of each other, at the center of the spiky orb I create a constant gravity orb.
「Orbit Control」is the name I've given this move, it gives an object its own orbit, I throw the book into the air, using attraction the book follows the cube, though never touching it as repulsion stops it.
As the objects fly they immediately halt before swapping which is following which, hot-swapping or dual processing to instantly change which is the orbit and which isn't.
Taking in rest, eating, sleeping, school, studying, and more I would say I've got almost 5-6 years of training the precision of my quirk.
I slowly close my eyes I pull on multiple signatures of energy, opening my eyes I see a bit over 20 books flying, sometimes swapping which is the core orbit of them all, sometimes making multiple, sometimes using only repulsions and attraction.
I do this roughly an hour before stopping, it's quite tiresome mentally to do this, but it's something I've gotten used to over the years.
This is going to be a long week.

Lonely MC does lonely things, some might question "hey why doesn't he train his martial arts, or tried making friends of Setsuna, or something that involves other people", but I should remind you 1, the MC sure has probably seen martial arts moves from the past but don't you think he has either attempted to train in these already or can't quite decipher them. After all seeing isn't always understanding, plus the school should teach him theoretically. Also he has no money to go to an official dojo.
Now as for Setsuna, he doesn't have a phone and Setsuna and him didn't talk enough to become friends, only acquaintances, not every possible harem member or person he meets will always immediately become relevant, some will take awhile to show up again, it's realistic that not everyone will get some immediate connection to him.
Now, something else that I wanted to talk about, the System that I was mentioning. Now I want to preface nothing is guaranteed, the System isn't a guaranteed thing I'm adding, also if you would all have an open mind to new things as any story can be good even with things you don't like, sort of like how food isn't always good with one chef but is good with another. Did it explain that in a good way?
Anyways the first thing to note, Gamers Mind/Body won't be a thing guaranteed, though the MC will have a naturally high resistance to mental attacks due to Life-Force energy control which should strengthen the soul, and the System would have natural defenses
Secondly, no dungeons unless a unanimous vote says otherwise, dungeons can make the story boring as the MC could just clear them insanely fast to get OP items or be used as a plot device.
Third, the MC won't level like normal, defeating enemies won't level him up through XP, the MC will level up in a different form and mostly through training and sudden/hidden quests.
Fourth, the MC will only get sudden/hidden quests as this will stop the MC from being forced to complete quests that go against what he is willing, basically like getting a quest that says to fight AFO and if he loses his lovers die despite him being able escape with the but the quest saying no. Also quests won't have failure things, basically like him losing abilities or being restricted, they will be optional if he is aware of the quests existence. The hidden quest should be slightly obvious, basically quests he didn't know he could complete.
Fifth, the MC will gain powers and powers possibly but will have to learn to control them, he might have natural affinity towards abilities but he can't just level them by beating people up to level it.
Sixth, the world around him will level with him to certain extents, there is a lore reason and would have happened regardless, the System acts as more of a Archive of his powers and information instead of just a tool that levels him, will be explained in lore later, there is also a lore reason as to how he gains items and powers as he goes, also random idiotic powers granted wont happen, like he won't just gain fire manipulation just because, it might be possible eventually due to energy manipulation but that's for later.
Any more questions go here, remember nothing is guaranteed, and it's possible I scrap the idea entirely.
