During the Quidditch match, Izabel placed the bet on Katrina's riddle in a way that prevented others from eavesdropping. She had her own reasons for not wanting too many people to know about the secret entrance to Ravenclaw.

Though students from other houses might be able to answer the riddle and enter the Ravenclaw common room, the likelihood was low.

"Wait!" Before Izabel left, Albert suddenly called out to her.

"Do you have something else to say?" Izabel stopped and turned to face Albert.

"Professor Snape has a certain ability, did you know? When I look into his eyes, I feel like he can see through me." Albert quickened his pace and walked alongside Izabel in the corridor. "Do you know what it is?"

"Why do you think that way?" Izabel remained silent for a moment before asking in return.

"I think it must be some kind of magic," Albert said while walking. "In the Muggle world, there is a concept called Legilimency."

Izabel stopped in her tracks, turned her head to look at Albert, and asked, "Do you want to learn this magic?"

"No, I want to find a way to counter it," Albert said helplessly. "No one wants to be understood by others, especially not by Professor Snape. To be honest, I dislike the feeling of being seen through."

"Are you referring to Legilimency?"

"So, it is a type of magic after all." Albert showed an expression of understanding.

"Legilimency can be used for cheating in exams," Izabel continued as she stopped as well and looked at Albert's eyes. Suddenly, she said, "Of course, you probably don't need to cheat."

"Do you know any methods to counter it?" Albert immediately asked, "I mean, to protect oneself from being understood by others."

"Occlumency, there should be books on this topic in the restricted section," Izabel stared into Albert's eyes, her voice cold. "Actually, you already know about it, don't you?"

"What do you mean?" Albert's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly averted his gaze, pretending to be puzzled.

"About Occlumency," Izabel said, showing little change in her expression, "or about Legilimency."

"Well, I found something similar in the library, but I haven't found any relevant books," Albert knew he couldn't hide it anymore, so he stopped pretending. Otherwise, he might really become a fool.

Izabel looked deeply into Albert's eyes and then looked away.

"I hope to find the related books. Of course, it would be even better if you know how to use this magic and are willing to teach me," Albert said with a smiling face.

"I do know Occlumency," Izabel said.

Really! Albert had casually mentioned it earlier, but he didn't expect Izabel to actually know Occlumency!

Albert fell silent for a moment and suddenly thought of a possibility, so he asked tentatively, "Did Professor McGonagall teach you?"

"Why are you asking like that?" Izabel asked indifferently, as Albert had guessed right.

"So, I guessed correctly." Albert was just speaking to himself, "During this year's Easter holiday, Professor Brod took me to attend a gathering hosted by Professor McGonagall..."

Izabel suddenly made a hushing gesture as someone approached from the other end of the corridor, Professor Smith.

Though Albert was a little puzzled, he refrained from mentioning it. When he turned back, he found that Rowena Smith had appeared just a few steps away from them.

"Afternoon," Professor Smith smiled and greeted the two. His gaze then fell on Albert. "Did you write back to them?"

"Yes, I received a reply from them just a few days ago," Albert nodded.

"That's good," Professor Smith suddenly asked, "By the way, what were you two talking about?"

"We were discussing ancient magical texts," Albert explained casually, "Professor Babbling is planning to publish a book related to ancient magical texts, and she asked me to help revise the manuscript on this topic. Izabel is also very proficient in ancient magical texts, so I was asking her if she'd be willing to help."

"Revising the manuscript?" Smith looked surprised as he remembered that Professor McGonagall had also asked Albert to do similar tasks, so he understood.

"I'm far less knowledgeable about ancient magical texts than Albert," Izabel politely declined.

"Well, that's a good thing," Professor Smith said with a smile. "When it's done, remember to let me know, I'd like to buy a copy and have a look."

"I'll remember," Albert replied earnestly. He took out a notebook from his pocket and quickly jotted down the conversation.

At this moment, both Izabel and Professor Smith were stunned. They didn't expect Albert to actually take note of their conversation.

After Professor Smith walked away, the two continued their previous topic.

"Oh, by the way," Albert asked, "Can you teach me Occlumency?"

"Why should I teach you?" Izabel asked in return.

"I have Galleons," Albert said without hesitation.

"I'm just a beginner," Izabel didn't lie; she had only learned Occlumency during the summer vacation this year, just as Albert had said, from his uncle, Professor Moody.

But, in a way, didn't she agree just now?

"It doesn't matter, I just need you to show me the basics," Albert said without hesitation. "I'll figure out the rest on my own."

As he spoke, Albert crossed his index fingers together. "How does this price sound?"

"You sure do have money," Izabel said with a knowing smile.

"Learning the Disillusionment Charm also requires Galleons," Albert said nonchalantly. "Of course, since you're not a formal teacher, I think that price is appropriate."

"Okay, as long as you won't regret it," Izabel agreed.

"When do we start?" Albert asked.

"On Sunday, once a week, in the Transfiguration Club classroom," Izabel said after thinking for a moment. "But you shouldn't have high expectations; I'm not good at Legilimency, and I won't refund the Galleons."

"No problem," Albert said with a smile. "If you know of any books on Occlumency, please let me know."

"Well... there's 'Advanced Occlumency Guide,'" Izabel hesitated for a moment but continued, "It's a book my uncle showed me. If you're looking for it, you should be able to find it in the restricted section of the school library."

"See you this weekend!" Albert nodded and prepared to leave.

"Aren't you worried that I'll cheat you?" Izabel asked curiously.

"Will you?" Albert asked in return. "Besides, I have Galleons."

Izabel's face twitched. Such a statement felt like someone boasting about their wealth. Of course, she believed Albert's words; after all, he had wagered ten Galleons with Katrina, so how could he be short on money?

As for using this matter to play a prank on herself? Izabel felt that the possibility was slim.

Although the trust between the two wasn't very high, they would inevitably have a large overlap in their social circles now and in the future. Both Albert and Izabel realized this. Furthermore, they were both geniuses and had their pride; they would never do anything tasteless.

Of course, in Izabel's eyes, Albert was just a wealthy sucker, and she didn't think he would easily master Occlumency.

However, Izabel obviously didn't know that there was something called "cheats" in this world.
