Kaido pondered, his gaze fixated upon Ulquiorra in the aftermath of his second-stage transformation, an unsettling unease gripped his heart.
"Your understanding of power is too small and limited, Kaido. Now... allow me to demonstrate true essence of despair,"
Ulquiorra uttered, a seemingly simple statement that sent shivers down Kaido's spine, an involuntary reaction to the oppressive aura that emanated from Ulquiorra.
"You insolent bastard, who do you think you are?" Kaido roared, gripping his mace with unrelenting force as he took a single, resolute step forward.
In an instant, Kaido sensed an unsettling shift in his balance, as if a tremendous force had yanked him down to the ground.
"Boom!!"
The world was engulfed in an ear-splitting explosion.
And there was Ulquiorra already infront of Kaido, wings sprawled out on his back.
Kaido's eyes widened, his surprise deep and profound. He hadn't even detected Ulquiorra's presence with his own Observation Haki.
Ulquiorra's gaze remained eerily composed, his claws exerting a subtle yet impactful pressure, sending an immense shockwave through Kaido's body.
Kaido, sprawled on the ground, with a deep wound on his body.
"Argh!!!"
Hot blood spurted forth from Kaido's figure.
"You damn asshole..."
Summoning every ounce of his strength, he fought to rise, but as he did, an unsettling sensation crept over his back, quickly followed by a crushing blow to his abdomen.
"Boom!"
A single kick from Ulquiorra sent Kaido hurtling through the air, a trail of devastation left in his wake.
"Boom...
"Boom..."
A colossal trench appeared in the place where Kaido was thrown.
"Puff!"
With the weight of the impact finally lifted, Kaido's throat constricted, forcing a torrent of blood from his mouth.
Agony!
Pain coursed through his entire body. This blow to his rear and abdomen made the previous sword wound seem utterly insignificant by comparison.
"This guy…"
Never before had Kaido experienced such a sense of helplessness, nor had he got the feeling of death in all these years.
"You should really thank your luck.... and count your blessings,"
came the composed voice from behind Kaido. causing his hair to stand on end as he swiftly distanced himself, prompting a swift retreat.
"This sneaky guy, how did he manage to get behind me again?" Kaido stared intently at Ulquiorra with a newfound wariness.
"You should consider yourself fortunate," Ulquiorra continued,
"If it weren't for the captain, I wouldn't be showing such restraint."
For the first time, Kaido felt deeply insulted.
Kaido was one of the Four Emperors who ruled the sea, the mighty Yonko, and yet, here he was, subjected to such words.
What was even more humiliating was his inability to retaliate.
He found himself utterly powerless to defeat Ulquiorra.
"Dammit!"
"You son of a—"
Kaido roared, raising his mace, poised to strike, in a desperate bid to break free.
But then, a calm voice reached his ears.
"Your efforts are in vain."
"Swing!"
"Swash!"
Kaido swung his mace (Hassaikai) directly, aiming to crush his opponent.
"Boom!"
A massive shockwave rippled through the air.
But the outcome remained the same, it was identical to before.
Ulquiorra effortlessly caught the massive mace, intercepting it mid-way.
In the next instant, Ulquiorra exerted a small amount of force.
"Clang..."
Intense noise echoed through the battlefield.
The colossal mace was crushed, it shattered with a resounding sound.
Unyielding, Kaido wrapped his fists with Conqueror's Haki and unleashed a devastating punch.
Ulquiorra's tail flicked behind him.
"Crack!"
Ulquiorra's tail twisted Kaido's body and attacked him ferociously.
"Puff!"
Once again, blood spurted from his mouth, and immediately, he was sent hurtling back at an astonishing speed.

Big Mom, who had been locked in combat with Carnes, swiftly intercepted Kaido as he was sent flying towards her.
"Boom!!!"
With Big Mom's assistance, Kaido finally stopped.
"Puff!!!"
Blood continued to gush from his mouth.
A gruesome wound had formed where Ulquiorra tail had attacked, and blood streamed forth from there.
