The interior of the mansion was as dark as the night itself, illuminated only by the feeble glow of their flashlights. Each step echoed through the empty halls, and the faint sound of whispers seemed to follow them wherever they went. The air grew thicker as they ventured deeper into the heart of the house.
As they ascended a grand staircase, Shin suddenly felt a wave of dizziness washing over him. His vision blurred, and he stumbled, barely managing to steady himself with the aid of the sturdy railing. Emiya rushed to his side, concern etched on her face.
"What happened? Shin? Are you fine? why did you suddenly fell? Is everything alright? Are you not ferling well? Should we go back? maybe we should come back another time? your health is more important." she bombarded Shin with questions anxiously, her voice was echoing in the silence.
Shin shook his head, trying to regain his composure. "Nothing everything's fine it's just that, I... I feel weird. It's like I'm seeing things. It's as if someone is implementating something in my mind and some weird vivid visons appeared right before my eyes."
Emiya's eyes widened, her mind racing with possibilities. She knew they were doing a dangerous task she even regretted coming here for a moment but when she looked at the confident composureof Shin, she refused such thoughts even though she wanted to convince Shin to go back and explore the mansion later, but the allure of the unknown was too tempting to resist. Determined to protect her friend, she took a deep breath and offered him a reassuring smile.
"We can't turn back now we, have already came so far. We need to find out what's happening here," Emiya said, her voice steady despite the fear that gripped her heart.
With renewed determination, they continued their ascent. The staircase seemed to stretch endlessly, the steps groaning under their weight. Shadows danced along the walls, their elongated forms adding to the surreal ambiance. The mansion seemed to have a life of its own, and they were mere visitors in its twisted world.
As they reached the top of the staircase, they entered a dimly lit corridor adorned with faded portraits.
"I feel the loneliness in my heart the world slowly crumbling apart yet we stay here unfazed for eternity" A sweet and ethereal voice was singing the unknown song
"S...S...Shin did you hear the song w...we are alone here and mansion had been abandoned since a long time t..th...then who is singing" Emiya asked slightly trembling.
"I don't know it's weird I know that we have experienced many paranormal activities but this is simply on a next level even I, feel somewhat scared" Shin said.
"I REGRET NOT BEING THERE FOR YOU, I NOW SEE YOU TRAPPED HERE NOW THAT I HAVE YOU I WILL TORTURE YOU FOR ETERNITY BURN YOUR SOUL IN THE DEPTHS OF THE HELLS" suddenly the ethereal amd sweet voice that was singing was replaced with a hoarse voice it was a voice that could make anyone feel the coldness and leave you stunned.
The temperature inside the room felt cold but what was even terrifying was that the temperature kept going down.
Each of the painting seemed to come alive, the eyes of the subjects following their every move. A sense of foreboding settled upon them, as if the very air was charged with malevolence.
Shin and Emiya exchanged a glance, their unspoken agreement urging them to delve deeper into the mystery. With bated breath, they pushed open the door at the end of the corridor, revealing a room enveloped in darkness.
"I still see you coming to help me even when you descended to hell....." the hoarse voice which now softened a bit was heard agaian Shin and Emiya were feeling cold and goosebumps never left them alone they always felt someone was behind then all the time.
Their flashlights illuminated the room, revealing a macabre sight. The walls were adorned with cryptic symbols, the symbols felt like some ancient runes that were shown in some mythological stories, Shin suddenly took out his camera and took a picture of the symbol he remebered someone who was interested in researching old ancient runes and symbols he thought of letting her see these pictures and possibly inviting her in his small group of paranormal research, after clicking the picture he put the camera back in his pocket, since the camera was small and compact he would easily fit it in the pocket, the sole purpose of him carrying the camera with him was getting some pictures of unexplainable things and use it to prove his worth and research when inviting others to join his group yes, he was planning of creating a full organization for paranormal research.
Just as Shin was thinking all these suddenly the air inside the room became heavy with an otherworldly energy. The energy felt cold yet warm it was inexplicable, Shin and Emiya suddenly both wanted to not explore the mansion anymore and go back to their home and sleep on a fluffy bed, but sadly for them the door was closed showing no time to open anytime soon, The history of the mansion was etched into the very fabric of the room, waiting to be deciphered.
As they stepped further into the room by steeling their resolve, the door suddenly opened giving them a hope to escape but the next second the door slammed shut again behind them, sealing their fate. Panic surged through their veins, but they refused to succumb to fear. They had come this far, and they would face whatever awaited them within these haunted walls.
The room trembled, and a sinister laughter echoed through the chamber. Shin and Emiya stood side by side, ready to confront the horrors that awaited them. In the face of uncertainty, they found strength in their bond, and together, they prepared to unravel the secrets of the haunted mansion, unaware of the dark forces that were about to be unleashed upon them...
