As I looked at the other version of me while in my own Galvanic form, even without him doing anything, I could sense he was a dangerous opponent.
The katana stabbed into the ground next to him start to shake back and forth until it floats into his hand.
Arrogantly leaning his weapon on his shoulder, he once again forms that smirk.
My mind gets clouded with anger from the annoyance of that smirk.
Shouting, I charge in at him.
Closing the distance, I lower my weapon and slice upwards towards his chest from the left.
He steps to the side avoiding the attack entirely but doesn't counter.
Recovering from the failed attack, I lunge at his chest, intending to pierce his heart.
His blade finally moves and at an insane speed, he swats my attack out of the way.
Pulling my blade back, I just so happen to blink at the moment. When my eyes open back up, he's gone. In the brief moment that I blinked; I had lost him.
My instincts scream for me to move to the right, which I listen as I turn to face him.
My blade swings and meets the air. There was nothing there.
My instincts scream for me to duck, which I do with no hesitation. Still crouched down low, I spin on my heels to face behind me once more to find no one there.
"Who are you fighting?" I hear him call out to see that he's returned back to his throne on the stands.
Standing, I take a deep breath and try to calm myself down.
The feelings of anxiety and anger that beforehand were just whispers are now running rampart, dictating my actions.
Regulating my breathing allows me to calm them a bit, but I can still feel my blood boiling from the anger.
I take the time to analyze the situation. His Galvanic form clearly generated more power; therefore, he must also be losing as much as well. Meaning that he wouldn't be able to maintain it for long periods of time.
So far after doing immense research, there was only a couple of ways to recover your bioelectricity. The only way he could most likely recover his own, was to take mine. But the moment he would try it, I just had to be quick enough to take his as well.
"You done?" He taunts as he reenters the arena.
I don't allow myself to get fazed by his taunt. I learned now that he was clearly using his understanding of wherever I was against me by toying with my emotions.
If I stayed focused, I could beat this arrogant prick version of myself.
"Look at you. So, determined. Wait, behind you!" He shouts.
My instincts warn me of an upcoming lethal attack behind me and I listen to it, dodging to the right.
He starts to hysterically laugh as I stand back up, realizing that there was no attack.
Then there was this matter to deal with. He could trick my senses as well, making me think there were attacks where there were none.
But I couldn't just ignore it as it could be an attack.
My left leg goes back as my right goes forward. My blade hangs towards my right side gripped by both hands.
The bioelectricity within me starts to flow more rapidly as the output increases, therefore increasing my capabilities.
Usually, I maintain a certain level of output in order to utilize this form as much as possible, but I see that against him, I had to do as much damage as possible in a short amount of time.
The best way to describe it was having your phone on the lowest brightness setting because you're on a road trip and you forgot your phone charger.
Sparks arch off of my legs and arms as the cheers and movements from the crowd begin to slow.
My focus extends around me, but I exclusively pay attention to Evil Shawn in front of me.
"Finally, you're learning." He says as he also assumes the same position.
The crowd watches the two opponents stay like that for three seconds before they could see an explosion of dust as they charge at each other.
They gasp as they can't keep up with the fight, all they can see are two trails of light blue zipping around the arena and the sound of metal clashing.
They stare in amazement as they see two columns of lightning suddenly collide into each other.
Rogue lightning bolts strike the ground and even the nearby walls of the colosseum.
The lightning columns pass through each other and dissipate behind a cloud of dust that blocks the crowds view of the arena.
Members of the crowd strain to see past the dust until they could make out two figures on each end of the arena.
Evil Shawn turns, with blood dripping down the cut on his cheek.
"That's...unexpected." He mutters while wiping the blood away.
I turn around, but this time, I wear the arrogant smirk on my face.
"Not so cocky now?"
