Au'dtair looked at the female lying on the floor in front of him and quickly rushed in to pick her up. Bringing her over to her nest instead of the bed, he gently laid her down and turned to look at the male coming up beside him.

"Make sure to keep her warm," he growled to Midnight, not really caring if he was coming off offensive or not. This was about looking after her and nothing else. The Njeriuujk simply grunted and climbed in under the furs, pulling the mate on top of him. She let out a half-hearted protest but quickly settled down, her cheek resting on his chest.

"Ye'tab?" growled Au'dtair as he pulled up her favorite white fur until it completely covered her. Making sure that she stayed warm was done. What was the next thing that they needed to do?
