"Alpha, the council will meet you in the courtroom in a moment."

I was dressed in my signature red suit and ready to meet with the council when I realized that it was not customary for the alpha of the pack to wait in an empty courtroom. As a result, I was forced to remain in my quarters for the time being.

While I was standing by the enormous mirror in my chamber, I had a clear view of Ben standing behind me and reporting that the council was waiting in the courtroom.

He was dressed in a red suit just like mine, but in contrast to my ensemble, which featured several barges and buttons, his was a simple free suit with a single barge. Since I am the alpha and he was the beta, I may admit that comparing the two suits was a mistake.
