In the end, Kane wanted to let out a long sigh… he had died again, so it was only evident that he felt like sighing. Unfortunately, he was in his spiritual form. So, breathing was unnecessary, and thus, sighing was impossible.

Unfortunately, not a single thing had changed… Despite that, Kane still hesitated in choosing what he would become next. For the sake of his future, it would better to become a Giant Bat or a Mutant Spider, but then, Kane would reincarnate in that dungeon again and then face all those problems again. That seemed like the most obvious option, but it was actually a massive pain the ass… Even though Kane wanted to see what he would find on the next floor of that place.
"I have a bad feeling about this… but I want to become something that has hands and legs like of the humans. Only one week or so have passed since Earth was destroyed, but I miss having a humanoid form."
Kane had only one option in that situation, to become a goblin… However, it couldn't be helped that he was hesitating. Given his pop culture knowledge, reincarnating as a goblin would be akin to hell in some aspects. They were ugly, lustful, and treated like the worst type of creatures. In essence, they were a plague that was hunted down to near extermination in almost every story or game Kane heard or found any mention of them.
"Still… I will become one. I want to see how the items work by buying them here. I probably won't be able to identify them, but I will be able to see if they can chance my status in some way."
Kane wouldn't be able to buy an extra life even if he buys a single knife, but at that point in time, he was already used to that amount of misfortune. Considering the prices of the weapons, a wooden bow was probably the best option, but would Kane be able to use one properly? In the end, Kane decided to go for the safest option, and he bought a spear.
"Thank you for using the Monsters System. You will be reincarnated in 10, 9, 8…"
Kane frowned when he heard that, now that he thought about it, he spent quite a lot of time thinking and investigating those screens. He didn't know why that voice didn't bother him this time, but it was probably because he didn't waste any time complaining. The system didn't want to see him in that white space for long and he didn't want to stay in that place either since it was where he most would hear that damn voice. So, that worked well for both sides.

He had a feeling that he would be sent to the middle of a battlefield, so he needed to concentrate as much as possible in order not to get caught off guard. However, Kane appeared in the middle of a dense forest. That was quite surprising since he could feel the humidity in the air and the warmth of the sun.

Kane was astonished, and he became even more astonished when he heard his voice and the English words that came out from his mouth. He had imagined that he would only be able to grunt and shout meaningless words. Still, it wasn't time to get surprised. Although that was good news, it didn't mean that the humans of that world would be able to understand or even willing to talk with him.

Kane noticed that he was only wearing a single piece of clothing around his waist. Not only that, but the nails in both hands and feet were also quite long.
"It looks like I spawned in the adult form of the ordinary goblins, that is good… it would be better than waiting for me to grow up. Although, thanks to that, I have to worry about my Lust bar… In any case, I have to avoid speaking out loud."
