After a prolonged silence, Serafall finally broke the ice, diverting the topic with a slight hesitation. "How's that milkshake taste? Can I have a sip too?"
Issei nodded, passing her the milkshake, sensing that she had something else she wanted to say but decided against it at the last moment.
"Go ahead, there are two straws," Issei responded, allowing Serafall to take a sip as he resumed enjoying the milkshake.
They quietly indulged in the shared treat, their faces in close proximity. Issei couldn't help but wonder what thoughts were crossing Serafall's mind, relieved that she didn't mention the boyfriend comment.
While he wasn't opposed to the idea of dating her, Issei questioned whether it was a wise decision. Their acquaintance was still relatively new, and he believed that someone as sweet and innocent as Serafall deserved better than the trouble he seemed to attract.
If the devils or angels targeted her to provoke him, he feared that he would inadvertently ruin her life. Moreover, he didn't anticipate Serafall harboring such strong feelings for him. Though he couldn't quite pinpoint it, a lingering unease gnawed at his instincts.
"This is so good! Save some for me, Issei!" Serafall cheerfully exclaimed, her demeanor returning to its usual bright and lively state.
'I wonder if she perceives this as a date or simply a friendly outing? I can't decipher her intentions at the moment. Given her personality, it's likely that she would have explicitly asked me to be her boyfriend if that's what she desired. Perhaps she only wants to be friends? But I don't have time for that. What am I even doing here with her?' Issei pondered, attempting to decipher Serafall's behavior.
Glancing at the time, Issei realized it was already 8:30. He looked up and stated, "We should get going if we want to catch the movie."
"Ah, the movie starts soon! Hurry, Issei!" Serafall exclaimed urgently, promptly settling the bill with an abundance of money before eagerly pulling him out of the restaurant.
Issei didn't have a chance to see the exact amount she paid, but it was clearly more than sufficient to cover their meals. They hurriedly made their way to the movie theater, and after a short wait, they finally found their seats.
"I'm so excited for this movie!" Serafall exclaimed as they settled into the middle row.
'This is going to be a long three hours...' Issei thought to himself as the trailers began playing.

Stepping out into the midnight air, Issei felt a wave of relief wash over him. He shook his head and cringed, silently vowing, 'I'm never subjecting myself to another magical girl movie as long as I live. Why did I agree to go out with her? I could have been soaring through the skies with Red right about now. Speaking of which...the big guy is probably wondering where I've been all week.'
"That was amazing! Can you believe how epic that final battle was? I totally want to learn how to perform that sparkling twilight attack!" Serafall exclaimed with enthusiasm.
"Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it," Issei responded, still recovering from the mind-numbing experience of the movie.
"This has been such an incredible day! I'm so grateful that you came with me," Serafall expressed her happiness.
Checking the time, Issei remarked, "Well, it's getting pretty late. I should probably drop you off at home."
"Already?" she gasped, a hint of disappointment evident in her voice.
"Yeah, it's late... I'm not sure what else we could do tonight," he replied, his tone reflecting his exhaustion.
'Well, I can think of a few things, but involving her with my life seems like a bad idea, so it's best to avoid going down that path...' Issei contemplated silently.
Serafall glanced away nervously for a moment before responding, "Yeah, sorry... I guess I got carried away."
"Let's get going," Issei suggested, quickly redirecting the conversation. He promptly headed towards his motorcycle, with Serafall following closely behind.
Issei wasted no time in driving her straight home. He was tired and eager to retire for the night. As he pulled up onto her street, Serafall spoke up, "Wait, the bus stop is back there. You don't have to drop me off directly at my house."
"It's late, and I simply want to get to bed. Besides, I wouldn't feel right leaving you alone in the dark," he calmly explained.
'Especially in a territory filled with devils,' he added silently, mindful of the potential dangers.
Coming to a stop in front of her house, Serafall disembarked and turned to him with a wide smile.
"Thanks for driving quietly through the neighborhood," Serafall said with a laugh.
"Yeah, no problem. I'll see you around, I guess," Issei yawned, feeling his fatigue catching up to him.
"Promise me we'll hang out again sometime soon, okay?" Serafall requested hopefully.
"Goodnight, Serafall," Issei waved before revving his motorcycle engine and driving away into the night.
As Issei stood at the door half-naked, he couldn't help but feel annoyed by the early morning disturbance. He muttered to himself, "Who the hell is knocking on my door at this ungodly hour?"
Without bothering to put on a shirt, he made his way to the front door in his boxers. As he swung the door open, he was taken aback by the sight of two girls standing outside.
Both of them were dressed in white robes, with black tights peeking out from underneath. One had beautiful blue hair that fell to her shoulders, complemented by golden-brown eyes.
The other girl had chestnut hair styled into long twintails, and her eyes shimmered with a deep violet hue.
Issei couldn't help but notice the crosses adorning their necks, as well as an object tied up on the blue-haired girl's back.
