Capítulo 166: Shrine of Shadows

Smothered by the invisible hands of darkness, Xander felt like a child lost in the woods. He didn't know which way was forward or what lurked in the shadows. Even his trusty Chronica could not guide him in the right direction inside this dark terrain.

All Xander knew was that he was inside a shrine and had to find the Blind Deity to get out of this mess. For a moment, he felt like the darkness was filling his lungs as his heart pumped louder and louder.

With his sense of vision completely compromised, all he could do was grope his way around in the darkness, hoping he was going in the right direction. Things were starting to look bleak and hopeless when the smell of incense wafted into his nostrils.

Xander continued walking with cautious steps planted firmly on the floor. He had only walked a few faces when a foul rotting odor filled the air, making him retch. He somehow controlled the urge to vomit by scrunching his nose and took a few steps back.
