"Your Majesty the empress, I present a special artifact congratulating your recovery," Xuan Cheng spoke as she passed a hint at her eunuch. 

Covered with a black cloth with tiny embroidery of stars, four sturdy men marched in, walking down the carpet, carefully handling the heavy gift, that made everyone stare at it with utter curiosity. 

"What is it? so big?" the empress pointed at it excitedly, she had been recieved wishes for the moon festival, but nobody mentioned her health, because a rumor had spread that the empress had been faking it to avoid her duties. 

"I humbly request, Your Majesty, that you unveil it yourself," Xuan Cheng implored, her voice carrying a gentle and hopeful tone. She couldn't help but notice Madam Xuan's unwavering gaze fixed upon her.
