Capítulo 393: 13.11 Stench of death

LanXu's PoV

"It's so empty.." Yao carried a melancholy in her tone as they traversed across the empty roads, and rather lifeless settlement. The roads were broad, and the buildings were low, families didn't leave behind much of a remnant except a heavy wiff of dust and autumn.

LanXu looked around, the trees dying, and the air sorrowful, it was indeed, well, desolate. But he never felt the need to comment out loud like Yao, this wasn't a foreign feeling. One just has to travel out the bunker to realise the length of existence isolated. It might have driven some mad, but he remembers clearly, the day of his sister's funeral, how he accepted everything so easily. His beloved sister was dead, everyone else might as well perish.
