Capítulo 66: 65 - Let's End This!
"Well then... LET'S END THIS!!!" Michael yelled before running towards the Boss but he stopped right before the boss.
Michael entered a combat stance that was completely different from any he had used before.
Holding the sword with one hand, Michael had his right foot forward, his body was turned at a slight angle.
Michael's left hand rested hidden behind him ready at a moment's notice for any required action.
The Boss slowly stood up off the ground, while looking right at Michael.
The Knight took a step forwards while getting ready to attack, the spear shot out thrusting straight at Michael's face.
Michael didn't panic as he used the blade of his sword to Parry the spear as he took a step to the left, then dodged to the right.
'It's lighter and slower.' Michael thought to himself, the boss was attacking him with only one arm that combined with the fact that it's leg was injured made the fight so much easier.
Michael kept either dodging or deflecting the Boss's attacks, while waiting for a chance to attack, but he still couldn't dodge all attacks completely.
So large and small cuts and scratches started to appear on his armour from where he'd been hit, some even bleed as the cut managed to cut through his armour hitting him.
Michael saw a sweeping attack coming towards his chest, Michael used all of his to Parry the spear before Slash at the Boss.
= Death Slash =
His blade was all of the sudden surrounded by a dark shadow traveling up from his hand, now with a dangerous arua around the blade it slashed down, aiming for the Boss.
But just when he was about to attack the Boss glowed in a bright brown light as mana flowed along it's body.
"Dang!!!! Michael's eyes widened as his blade for the first time ever bounced right off the boss, the force pushed his arm back into the air above his head.
Michael watched on as the boss drew back the spear before thrusting straight towards his chest.
In that moment it was as if everything had slowed down to a crawl as the sharp spearhead got closer and closer.
There was nothing he could do, he couldn't defend and he couldn't dodge as he didn't have any stable footing.
All he could do was watch as he was impailed through the heart.
But it wasn't over yet!!!
Right at this moment the boss was suddenly hit by a extremely powerful force sending it flying across the hall smashing right into a stone pillar destroying it.
"Ha hff hf, I got, huf, I got you brother." Blinking his eyes in shock Michael heard Victor's tired panting voice, turning to his right he saw that Victor clearly having over exerted his mana was luring the Golem.
Victor had come to earlier from all the shaking as Skelly was running around the hall trying to keep his distance from the Golem.
But he was too tired to even look up let alone move, but when he saw that Michael was fighting the boss by himself.
But he knew that Michael needed help as he was rapidly using stamina and would soon be tired as well.
So he need to help Michael beat the boss as soon as possible, it was at this time he felt the slowly gathering mana.
Knowing that the boss was about to use a skill Victor tried to think of a way to stop it but he didn't have any mana and he was to exhausted.
It was at this moment he was brought out of his thoughts by the Golem slamming ground hard.
'That's it!' it was almost like a light bulb went off in his mind as he got an idea.
And so he put his new plan into action by leading the Golem over towards the boss from behind while trying all he had to summon one more Weak skeleton.
Reaching the other side of the pillar right behind the boss Victor pushed all of the tiny amount of mana he had recovered to summon one weak skeleton.
Then he order Skelly to move them away, luckily it would seem that this golem wasn't a complete one as it didn't have proper intelligence like ancient ones.
So it didn't continue to slowly chase after Victor instead it immediately attacked the new skeleton standing next to the pillar.
And just in time to save Michael as the Golem slammed the skeleton not only hitting it but also the pillar and the boss across the hall.
"Umm thanks for the save." Michael thanked him but their conversation was cut short by the golem roaring.
"You can thank me after the boss is dead." Victor said as he ordered Skelly to take him over towards the boss.
Michael nodded before running over to the left as well but he looped around another pillar first as the golem was after him.
Victor reached where the boss slammed into the pillar which had now collapsed from the impact.
Victor soon found that the Knight was funnily enough stuck under the collapsed stone fragments of the pillar.
The Earth Knight tried to free itself self while looking at Victor but even now it didn't speak or make any noise.
A lot of its Armor was also destroyed from the impact allowing Victor to see that it wasn't a person underneath the Armor.
No the Earth Knight was actually a ancient Golem, not like the big one but a Golem Knights that are far smaller and are designed to usually be either soldiers or bodyguards.
But this Earth Knight wasn't able to use its true strength or abilities otherwise both Victor and Michael would have been killed long ago.
But fortunately for them both as the Earth Knight had been nerfed to level 10 Epic rating.
But unfortunately this wasn't over yet as the boss suddenly started to lift up the stone slab on-top of it.
Victor created distance while joining up with Michael, knowing he had to quickly replenish his mana.
"I need you to get out a few Potions of Mana Recovery." Victor said while keeping his attention on the boss.
Michael nodded before pulling out three potions from his storage ring before helping Victor drink one.
Immediately Victor felt his headache slowly dissipate as his mana slowly replenished.
Standing up now on his own with a little help, then he started to speak.
"Now I should be able to cast another three spells but as I've already over spent myself I won't be able to do much." Victor explained his worries.
"Luckily for us the Boss's armour has nearly been completely destroyed, so you'll have an easier time fighting it. But I've got a plan to finish off the boss." Victor started to give his thoughts to Michael who nodded and agreed.
"While you're doing that I'll keep the golem busy but I won't be able to provide any support ok." Hearing this Michael knew that Victor would be takening on the Golem by himself.
"Alright I'll do my part, so don't worry." Michael said seriously before walking towards the boss.
Skelly on the side looked at his master with a look of betrayal in its soul eyes.
Victor nodded before sending Skelly to follow Michael, turning the the huge golem that had now reached him.
Victor couldn't help but complain that he didn't have any movement spells.
Victor watched as the golem raised it's huge arm before slapping down towards him, quickly jumping before rolling out of the way.
"Boom! Crack!" The spot he just was got completely destroyed leaving a crater with cracks running through the ground.
"Damn, fortunately we don't have to fight it, I guess because it's too low in magic energy it can't even bring out even 100th of the strength it's meant to have. Which has limited it truly too much." Victor thought too himself as he started to run once more but this time towards the golem.
Running in-between the Golems legs he quickly turned to run next to the golems right foot before climbing up to sit of the foot as the confused golem turned around looking for Victor.
Only to fail in find him, it was at this time Victor jumped off before running in the opposite direction of the Boss while the Golem's back was facing him.
When he created enough distance the Golem found him once more after turning around.
Michael on the other hand stopped near the boss who had managed to free itself after a lot of effort.
"Time for round three!" Michael said in excitement before running at the Boss, getting closer he swung out his left hand while using a skill.
= Throw =
A small throwing knife flew out traveling towards the boss, forced to defend against this the boss had to deflect the attack with the shaft of the spear.
By this time Michael had arrived and slash down at the boss.
= Heavy Slash =
His blade struck the Boss's left shoulder and cut right though it, as it didn't have any armour to stop it.
But he was immediately forced to defend as the boss counterattacked with a thrust, dodging the thrust Michael backed up.
Even though the boss was missing an arm and had lost quite a bit of movement, this still didn't mean the boss wasn't a deadly threat to Michael.
The Earth Knight lifted the spear up spinning it around before throwing the spear right at Michael.
When he saw the boss raise the spear up into a throwing position, Michael didn't waste any time as tried to dodge and roll behind cover.
"Boom!!" The spear flew right passed Michael before creating a crater on the wall as it got stuck.
Michael didn't waste anytime as he flipped over before charging at the boss going for the kill.
Victor who had been paying attention to Michael's fight instantly casted one last curse at the boss.
= Curse of Deafness =
The boss noticed this but didn't care as Michael reached it, Michael stabbed towards the Boss's core in its chest.
But the boss wouldn't let this happen as it grabbed Michael's sword, stopping the attack dead in its tracks.
But Michael didn't despair, no he smirked while looking right into the Boss's inorganic eyes.
"Gotcha." Although the boss couldn't hear what Michael said it felt a sudden sense of panic but a pain.
Looking down the boss saw that a sword had stabbed straight through it's core and chest from behind.
Slowly turning it's head it saw a small weak skeleton behind it, letting go of his sword the boss reached out for Michael's neck but collapsed halfway as it lost all power....
