An A-tier beta volunteering to help tidy the Sea of Consciousness was something unheard of in the Alliance. It was big news!

Being an A-tier meant they were top-tier betas, charging at least five thousand astracredits to help someone manage their Sea of Consciousness. 

Even if you could afford their hefty fee, you still had to join a waitlist. When your turn finally came around, whether or not they'd assist you depended entirely on their mood.

In short, getting an A-tier beta to help with Sea of Consciousness was one word: hard.

So, when everyone heard that an A-tier beta was volunteering to help Tuss with his Sea of Consciousness, they were both shocked and envious.

Indeed, Tuss, an SSS-tier alpha, was so influential that even A-tier betas came offering their services willingly.

Of course, there were some who shrugged this off, even disdained it, such as Daleks, Ender, and Kilana.

Tuss had Yuri; he didn't need any other beta.
