Capítulo 151: LEAVING

Felix darted his eyes between Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith before he realized that things weren't going to be easy for him at all.

He took in a sharp breath before he mustered up the courage to speak,

"About that uncle, I didn't mean for any of that to happen. I was drugged and I could…."

"Spare me that long story Felix," Mr Smith abruptly interrupted Felix and glared at the young man. "Do you know that because of your actions, my daughter had to suffer so much? That was simply disgusting," the old man spat, which made Felix wonder if this was the same uncle who had asked for a handshake earlier just now.

Out of shame, Felix lowered his head and stared at the floor with regret. If only he had been careful that night, then what happened that night wouldn't have happened. He felt it was completely his fault for falling for that woman's trick.

Monica stared at her parents before staring at Felix who was holding up a long face.
