The footsteps only got closer and closer to them. "We can't stay here, the police are going to catch up to us anytime soon", the other one said. "We have to leave him here", he added.

The others were not against the idea anyway. It was either one of them or all of them. "Sorry Trey, but we will have to leave you here. The police are on their way and we are going to get caught if we don't leave now", the leader said.

"Are you stupid! Am f*cking bleeding and y'all wanna leave me here?" He cried out again. The dog had given it all to not let go of the criminal's foot he had caught.

"The police are coming here and they will help you", Adrian said to the member called Trey. "Don't worry, we will find a way to help you escape as soon as we are not on the run anymore", he assured Trey but the latter knew that if they escaped, then today would be the last day he would be seeing them. They were going to enjoy the money that they had stolen and forget all about him.
