Jasmine closed her eyes as if dreaming before she opened them and replied,

"My actions were wrong, I admit that but seeing her holding hands with my Ethan was the biggest mistake of her life". Lifting her second bottle to her lips, she gulped down four mouthfuls of its content before placing it back on the table.

Andrew noticed the single drop on the sides of her lips, unable to resist the urge, he stretched out his hand and wiped it away, which took Jasmine by surprise.

The both of them made eye contact, his black eyes boring into her brown ones. For a moment, the both of them stared into each other's eyes as if the world had suddenly stopped for them.

Andrew smirked at her before he retracted his hands and placed them back by his side.

"So you are telling me that you love Ethan but you are angry because he doesn't love you and because he has a girlfriend?" Andrew asked, trying to put her words in a single frame.
