Capítulo 79: dobby the house elf, diagon alley
as soon as alex entered his room, he saw a house elf there, it looks very thin with leash marks all over the body and wearing a dirty cloth, Alex knew who it is and he pretended to be surprised and asked," who are you? how did you get into my room?". but the house elf didn't answer the questions and only said," Alexander potter must not visit Hogwarts this year, there are bad things that are going to happen?, master Alex must promise dobby he will not attend school this year?".
Alex looked at dobby and felt touched, even though he is beaten and can't work against master's orders , this house elf came to warn him and is even trying to save him from danger, he will definitely free dobby from malfoy's, then Alex said," okay, but I have to attend Hogwarts, since I can't put my brother and friends in danger, so sorry dobby, if there is anything else , tell me ?".
dobby face has a look of disappointment, but also a second later it's gone then he said," Alexander must not attend Hogwarts, the blood of dark lord is in that castle ,there will be death roaming around this year and the history will be repeat it self-, why did I say that, bad dobby, bad dobby", saying that dobby started to hit his head to the pillars, Alex hurriedly stopped dobby and said," dobby , I don't know who you are? but you are thinking about my well being, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, but I must attend Hogwarts, that can't be changed".
dobby is about to say something when Millie potter family house elf appeared and stepped in front of Alex like shielding him while saying," who are you? what business do you have with master Alex? how did you get here?". seeing this dobby instantly snapped and apparated away, Millie on the other hand turned towards Alex and said," young master, are you okay? did that house elf hurt you?". Alex shook his head and said," no, Millie on the contrary he comes to warn me about upcoming danger in Hogwarts , don't worry he is well wisher". Millie then asked," master Alex, you can't think like that, you're one of the heir of potter house and can I know what that house elf told you young master? and what is this danger are you talking?, should I warn master James and lady Lily about this?".
Alex replied," no, Millie, don't tell them about this or they will be nervous about my safety and don't discuss about the house elf to any in this house not even my parents okay?".
Millie just nodded and disappeared, Alex is now suspicious about dobby's words as dobby said, there will death roaming around castle he knows it's basilisk, but he can't understand about the blood of dark lord, Alex then thought he has fight the basilisk as soon as possible to avoid trouble that will arise.
but as he is roaming around castle he can feel gazes on him, so he has to be careful before opening the chamber, or else he don't know what the old fox Dumbledore will plan, he sighed out his thoughts away then went to sleep as he has to deal with 3 girls tomorrow, he doesn't even know how they will react if he say, there is a 4th one joined recently, Alex slept thinking about this.
next day they are all prepared to go to diagon alley to buy necessities and Alex is nervous all this time , Harry who observed this can't believe his brother being nervous but Lily is smirking looking Alex like this then said," what are you nervous my dear?, this is what happens when you bite more than you can chew, now shall I tell them about the 4 th girl that is going to join the family?". Harry and James are confused at first but then hearing last sentence they are certain it's about Alex's girlfriends and shocked when they heard 4 girlfriends, especially James he couldn't believe how his son is completely different from him who can't even face a single girl.
Lily is teasing and playing with Alex this entire thime making him more nervous, then when they saw Hermoine in leaky couldron, Alex approached her and said," hi, Hermoine, how is your holidays?", but Hermoine just looked at him angrily and turned away with a ," humph", Alex tried to remember what wrong he did, on the other hand Grangers and potter's are looking at Alex like he did something wrong to Hermoine, then Alex remembered he forgot to write letters to Hermoine and Cho during these holidays, seeing Hermoine who turned away he know the meaning, she want to be coaxed, but her parents are watching him with a wierd gaze, so he goes near her and said," I'm sorry, I'm studying alchemy with sir Nicolas flamel, I'm immersed in it and forgot to write to you, please forgive me this once".
but Hermoine looks she isn't satisfied with it and Alex dropped his shoulders and then remembered the grimoires he got from his home library and flamel house, he took one out and said," look Hermoine, I didn't completely forget you, I even got this grimoire with lots of spells for you, I planned to gift it during the first day, you can take it now".
mr.granger who is watching this felt like Alex is coaxing a wife and giving murderous gazes to Alex while mrs.granger is smiling beside him. Lily on the other hand is watching this and feared how Alex will turn into playboy in future, James and Harry felt is Alex really belongs to potter family.
Hermoine after hearing this turn around with a smile took the grimoire, hugged Alex then saw her dad's murderous gaze towards Alex, she immediately let go and said," next time, I won't forgive you". Alex smiled watching her and suddenly Hermoine asked," wait, did you say you studied magic with Nicolas flamel?, how ?".
Alex replied ," it's big story, I'll tell on the train when we met, now let's go shopping". saying so he took Hermoine's hand and began to walk towards diagon alley, Hermoine is blushing while others followed awkwardly.
they entered diagon alley and as usual went to gringotts to collect gold galleons, after that they met Daphne with Adorabella and Cho with her friend, she said her family is now busy in ministry so they can't accompany her, but as soon she saw Alex she also turn away and pretended to be mad, Alex sighed and coaxed while others are giving wierd gazes especially Grangers who didn't know wizards customs, it took him 5 minutes to convince Cho and promised her he will buy her a scarf with a broom pattern on it.
