Alex saw the letters on the snake pattern of the binding of Slytherin's book, then he read the words in parseltongue, it says," show me your past o great Slytherin". after seeing Alex felt," this guy and his arrogance".the book shined for a moment and then dimmed, Alex opened it and saw letters on it.
then he began to read but like Godric's book this one also raised a voice in his head, the voice said:
" I , Salazar Slytherin, the greatest of the 4 founders of Hogwarts, leaving behind my past for those who chase after my inheritance, it's hidden in the castle. I also left something to improve the magic and bloodline of the wizard, those who have great ambitions and strength can look for it, but beware as the trial may be cunning and wanted you to lose".
" now let's dive into my past, it's my dream to become the greatest wizard of all time, along with my friend Godric who is a very trustworthy person, I embarked on a journey to uncover the mysteries left by the ancient wizards, there I found the dark arts, a branch of magic so powerful that it will not only able make you strong but also make your enemies end up in a miserable state."
" after I learnt this magic, I started to develop new arts in this , but I didn't expect this magic to be a double edged sword, this magic started corrupting the user's soul and mind, I became aggressive and even Godric noticed this and continuously urged me to leave this kind of magic, but I traveled too far to turn back, I don't have enough strength to redo the damage that is done , so I burnt all my research on this and only left behind some that will not corrupt the soul too much and can be repaired, so I changed my goal to build a school and live my reminder of time teaching young wizards about magic, Godric agreed with me and also 2 of my old friends Rowena and Hufflepuff also have the same thoughts, we planned to travel around gathering young wizards, which is a decision we shouldn't have taken as we will regret later".
" I arrived at a village and met a woman called Elizabeth with magic in her, I started to teach her magic while staying in her home, we both became close and I felt soothing from her, but things don't end well as I noticed another woman called sara who also has magic, but what I didn't know is that she is a vicious woman who already practiced magic, she spread rumors around the village about us being bad magic users, as I returned to house and saw Elizabeth being burnt alive, and sara along with the other villagers is laughing watching her screams, in a rage I used dark arts to murder all the villagers and left sara to wild animals without her limbs, my friends Godric, Rowena and Helga also faced violent treatment from muggles but successfully brought the wizards with them,but this dark arts caused me to become violent and I developed hatred towards muggles and muggle-born magicians, now my soul is corrupted beyond repair and I have to find a to solve this".
" that's when my family legacy is appeared before me, the deathly hallows, I read those who gathered them can become the master of death and also a hope bloomed in me to revive Elizabeth, I embarked on a journey to gather the deathly hallows while I have sanity remained in me , or else it will be a disaster if I lost control, I left behind my legacy along with a snake I developed for its bloodline and magic reasearch, but my friends thought I didn't like muggle-born wizards and left behind a monster in my lab for killing them, Godric confronted and argued with me while I tried to pursuade him, but he didn't listen and told me he will find it or if he don't he will left behind his legacy that will help the future generations to beat the dangers in it."
" if anybody is reading this then, this book may be sealed or locked by me as I have violent thoughts about muggle-borns and don't want them to know, I may have died or even succeeded but the legacy I left behind must be found by someone worthy who will use it for good, hope you'll also find a good path with someone to love wizard, don't take a dark path like me and end up blamed and misunderstood by those around you".
the book and the voice ended and Alex is now certain Salazar is a good person if not for the dark arts corrupting him and the betrayal of a fellow magic user who killed his lover, he felt pity for Salazar, then decided to open the chamber as Hermoine will be affected if it's open by Tom riddle, he need to find the dairy, but he don't whether it'll be with Ginny or any other student, he needed to find it before the dairy corrupts someone's mind and invade them.
he also decided to open the chamber on first and solve the basilisk by taming it , if not possible end it's life. then Alex closed the book and placed it in his inventory, at this time Cassandra send him a message and he began to chat with her using the ring, like this they communicated with each other for an hour.
