Capítulo 10: Injured Wolf
When Enzo heard his parents he just smiled at them, but on the inside he was panicking, he didn't want to show it so that he doesn't look suspicious.
His parents saw that and they what he was panicking about, but didn't want to point it out. They just smiled back at him and told him to get ready to eat lunch.
After eating Enzo returned to his room and started looking through the system to see if he could find anything useful.
[The Red Horned Rabbit. It is a wild animal that as its name applies looks like a rabbit bit has red horns. It lives in small groups from 3-5 per group. It's mostly vegetarian and rarely hunts. It's a very territorial animal that will attack you as long as it sees you as a threat to its territory...]
Enzo was reading the information about the rabbit while making the plan in his mind based on the information the system gave.
He decided that he will sleep and wake up a little while after midnight so that he can start his training tomorrow. How would he wake up? The system has built in functions that can help him. From what he has discovered, it has an alarm, newsletter and things that he still doesn't know the use of.
After midnight, Enzo alarm rang in his mind. Contrary to what he expected, it wasn't music or a song or anything similar to his previous world.
[WAKE UP, WAKE UP. YOU'RE GONNA WAKE UP. YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP. I need you to wake up Dar~~ling]
Enzo woke up startled. The voice that rang in his sounded very different from the usual girly voice. It sounded more mature and very seductive. Fortunately it only shouted in his mind, otherwise he won't be able to explain to his parents.
'What what! Who wakes someone up like that? And why is your voice different?'
[What do you mean host? My voice has been the same, it didn't change. To answer your question, I wake someone up like that.]
Now Enzo was more confused. At first he was suspicious that the system is being controlled by someone, a woman to be more precise. Now that he heard a different voice he started thinking that it's not just one person that's controlling it. For now it's two women, what about in the future; will they increase?
He decided to stop thinking about it as everything will reveal itself when he gets stronger. He wanted to finish the mission quickly so that he could sleep better.
He did the same as yesterday, but when he got to the front door he was prepared to get a stool so he could reach the handle. To his surprise it was also unlocked today as well. He didn't think that his mother will forget to lock the door two days in a row, he felt that his mother was clumsier than he thought she was. Nevertheless he didn't think much of it and went into that forest.
He went to the same place as yesterday and continued his scouting and searching from there. He kept walking until he heard the sounds of a animals fighting.
He hid in some bushes to spectate what was happening with being discovered. He saw a wolf cub holding what seemed to be a rabbit in it's mouth, the cub looked like it went through a fight and sustained injuries that are still bleeding heavily.
In front of the wolf was a pack of red horned rabbits. They were circling around the wolf and attacking it.
Enzo saw this scene, he was happy and confused at the same time.
He was happy because he found his hunting target and confused because he thought that the red horned rabbits were vegetarian and don't hunt. He decided to ask the system.
'Hey system, why are they attacking the little guy? Weren't they supposed to be vegetarian and not hunt for meat?'
*sigh* the system sighed a very soft sigh thinking that Enzo won't hear it, but unfortunately he did.
'That confirms it. Now I'm sure there's a human or some creature controlling the system. I won't reveal or ask about anything now, I will wait until I'm strong enough to confront whoever 'is' behind the system panel or whoever 'are' if there's more.'

The description says that "They won't attack anything as long as they don't feel threatened from it and from what it looks like, it seems that the little cub has killed one of their kin. Host, I suggest you get smarter if you want to live longer.]
While reading this Enzo was angry because the system told him to become smarter and that hurt his pride because he was called the smartest man alive in his previous world. He wanted to shout that he asked that question to test the system, but he was smarter than that.
