Capítulo 912: A syndicate full of hostages

"Ah, shit…" someone in the back, breathed out as his heart raced. They felt like they were under a spell, paralyzing them on the spot, eyes wide on the woman. All they could do was watch her lift the sword, spinning it to change how she held it, and then throw it in their direction. 

They saw it coming. They saw everything in slow motion, yet none of them did anything to stop her. The next thing they knew, another of their comrade was on the ground with the sword plunged right into his throat. 

The body landed on his back with a violent thud, looking at it with deep horror in their eyes. They held their breaths on instinct, knees wobbling, their subconscious mind screaming at them to run.

This was insane. 

"Hey," the woman's soft voice snapped them back to the current lapse. "Eyes here."
