Capítulo 25: Obsession

Mia stared at him in disbelief. How had she ever thought this man loved her? She must have wanted love so much that she had mistaken obsession for love. Now she could see it clearly, and there was no way she was going back to him.

She nodded. She knew it wasn't love, but she wasn't going to argue the obvious point with him. He let out a sigh of relief. "Should I assist you in packing your things?"

"What things?"

He glanced at her, confusion written all over her face. "I thought you agreed to go back with me."

She shook her head. When did she agree? "I didn't. I'm not leaving here with you, Jack. I'm staying with Sheila, and I am not changing my mind anytime soon."

Although the thought of being a burden to Sheila weighed on her chest. Maybe she could find a job to pay part of her bills, but the thought of going back with Jack wasn't an option.

"Mia, I am not leaving here until you leave with me."
