Capítulo 125: LeviTribe

Landing smoothly on the shores of Spring Island, Jack reached out to assist Otohime and his daughters off the Bead Rider. Aria jumped off with the ease and confidence of one accustomed to their father's adventures, while Robin held onto Jack's hand a little tighter as she stepped onto the unfamiliar ground.

As soon as they had safely disembarked, Jack's thoughts turned to the Bead Space. With a familiar gesture, he stowed the Bead Rider into its concealed pocket dimension and swiftly brought out the rest of his family.

Amelia, her eyes wide with wonder, took in the floating creatures and the unique flora of the island, while Luna and Liana, more seasoned in their travels, looked around with a practiced eye, gauging the environment. Sophie, alongside Isabella, seemed awed by the peculiar beauty of the island, their expressions filled with excitement. Titi, with her hair reflecting the bright blue sky, was already taking steps towards one of the hovering creatures, her adventurer's spirit evident. Ponis, despite having seen numerous islands by now, seemed to have the same spark of curiosity in her eyes, no doubt comparing this new landscape to her native Skypiea. Shakky, ever the composed queen, took a moment to adjust, while little Hancock, Sandersonia, and Marigold looked around in pure, childlike wonder.

Aria, ever the inquisitive one, tugged at Jack's sleeve. "Daddy, can we explore? I want to see those floating animals!"

Jack gazed around at the vibrant landscape and the floating creatures that danced in the sky. "Before we wander off," he began, his voice cool and calm as always, his blue eyes surveying both his family and newcomers, "let me explain a bit about Spring Island."

He gestured to the creatures frolicking mid-air. "These animals aren't born floating. They've evolved over generations due to the Leviflora," he pointed at a peculiar plant. "It secretes a compound lighter than air. When these animals feed on it, it grants them the gift of weightlessness."

Aria's eyes sparkled with interest. "So they're flying because they eat those plants?"

"In a way, yes, Princess," Jack responded, offering a rare gentle smile her way. "They've adapted to harness the nectar from the plants, allowing them to glide gracefully through the skies."

Luna looked up, "And the islanders use it as well?"

Jack nodded. "The Levitribe, the natives here, have incorporated Leviflora into their diet. By doing so, they too have learned the art of floating. It's not just a spectacle but a way of life. They have aerial games, hunts, and transportation methods built around this unique trait."

Robin, holding onto Jack's hand, looked up and said, "The flying people play in the sky, Daddy?"

He looked down at his little one, "Yes, they dance and play above the trees. You might even get to see some of their games."

Ponis, with her experience from Skypiea, remarked, "It's fascinating how different worlds have such unique ways of life."

Sophie, her eyes fixed on the floating animals, murmured, "It's like a dream. How do they control where they go?"

"They've honed the skill," Jack explained. "By controlling their intake of the nectar and adapting their physiology over generations, they've achieved a delicate balance."

As they all marveled at the wonders around them, Hancock's innocent voice piped up, "Can we fly too?"

Jack chuckled, "Maybe not today. But we'll explore and see all that this island has to offer."

Aria, her adventurous spirit shining through, tugged at Jack's sleeve again. "Can we start now?"

Jack shook his head, looking towards the distant edges of the island where shadows darted and shimmered. "Not just yet, Princess. The Levitribe is protective of their home. They tend to approach newcomers on their terms, once they've assessed we're not a threat." He paused, letting his eyes sweep over his family. "For now, we have to be patient."

Aria pouted but nodded, understanding the caution her father was always keen on practicing. "But the moment they say it's okay, we're going exploring," she declared, determination evident in her voice.

Liana observed the distant movements with a practiced gaze. "They're probably watching us right now," she mused.

Luna hummed in agreement. "They'd want to ensure the safety of their island. Given the unique flora and fauna, many would seek to exploit it."

Amelia, her protective instincts kicking in, pulled Aria closer. "It's beautiful, but we should be careful."

Robin, curious and ever-so-observant, softly asked Jack, "Do you think the Levitribe will like us?"

Jack looked down at her, his deep blue eyes softening, "We're here with respect and curiosity, Little One. As long as we show them that, I believe they will."

The group settled down, creating a makeshift camp as they awaited the tribe's approach. The rhythmic sounds of the island's springs and the sight of the floating creatures provided a serene backdrop to their anticipation.

Jack, accompanied by his daughter Aria and the rest of the family, meandered along the coast of Spring Island. The breathtaking views of floating animals and the serene backdrop of lush forests and springs seemed straight out of a fairy tale. The scent of the unique Leviflora was faint here, and the animals it attracted were mostly in the inner parts of the island.

After hours of exploring, even the unyielding fascination of the floating paradise began to wane for young Aria. "Daddy, can we see something new now?" Her voice, laden with a hint of boredom, echoed in the tranquil surroundings.

As if in answer to Aria's plea, a group of Levitribe members slowly approached them. Their robe-like attire of blues and greens melded seamlessly with the surroundings, and their lightweight capes fluttered gently in the breeze. The shimmer in their eyes, hinting at generations spent amidst the vast skies, regarded Jack's family with a mix of curiosity and caution.

One of the Levitribe members, an elegant woman with intricate patterns embroidered on her robe, stepped forward. "Greetings," she said, her voice as gentle as the breeze.

Jack could sense the presence of the Levitribe long before they made their approach. His Observation Haki gave him an edge in situations like this. The moment their figures appeared, he became alert, ensuring his family's safety. Now that the Levitribe had shown themselves in a peaceful manner, Jack felt a slight ease, though he kept his guard up.

"Good day," Jack replied, his voice steady and calm, echoing the serenity of the island. Behind him, Amelia held onto Aria's hand, while Olvia gently cradled Robin. Liana, Luna, and the other women stood protectively, their gazes shifting between the Levitribe and their surroundings.
