Jack watched as Renard stormed out of the room, leaving behind an atmosphere thick with tension. The couch welcomed him as he sank into its familiar embrace.

His mother, a look of concern etched across her face, spoke up. "Jack, do you think he won't return? I've witnessed his strength; he's not one to take lightly."

Jack sighed, the weight of the situation evident in his eyes. "It's over, Mom. He's here, waving around an empty piece of paper with faded ink, expecting me to join a group I have no interest in."

Camily, sensing the gravity of the situation, voiced her worries. "Isn't he dangerous?"

Rosa, a stalwart figure in the room, asserted, "You need to leave Mexico now."

Jack reassured them, "You worry too much. I'll leave when the time is right. What if he comes back to disturb you?"

"I can handle myself," Rosa replied with confidence. "Besides, he came here for you, not for me."
