Lily punched the password on the type pad on the wall, beside the door and opened it, "You shouldn't have slapped Fred on his face. Emelia, what were you thinking?" 

Lily entered the apartment, brown grocery bags in her hands with Emelia coming behind her, Emelia's hands were filled with the provisions they had purchased from the store. 

Entering the kitchen, Lily dropped the counter on the table, "Emelia, answer me. I am talking to you."

Emelia shrugged her shoulders, "At least he won't call you to meet him for dinner or one of those weird places you guys used to visit in the past. After what he did, he still had the guts to ask you for permission. Gosh! What a fucking jerk," she cursed in spite.
