Capítulo 222: plans for visiting grandparents

Kaneki: well, anyways I think I'll be heading to Kyoto soon.

Kaneki: my Grandparents are in Kyoto and I might ask them if they know something about a Demon Knight relic "hint".
Ryueki: why would you even ask them? They probably don't know anything about it.

Kaneki: fine I'll call them and I'll put it on speaker so you guys could hear them.
Kaneki started to call his grandparents on his phone.
Natsuki: you shouldn't have said that.
Ryueki: I just want to get this done.
Natsuki: where's the fun in that?
Ryueki: !!!
Natsuki made an unhappy face.
Ryueki: tch!
Kaneki: alright here it comes.
The call was then answered.
"HELLO KANEKIIIII!!! DID YOU GOT YOURSELF A GIRLFRIEND NOW?! OR AT LEAST TWO?!"
"C'MON C'MON! TELL US! WHEN WE CAN MEET OUR FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW! WILL YOU BE VISITING SOON!"
Kaneki made a face saying I told you so.
Kaneki: umm, just a moment I'll be muting my mic I'll talk in a bit.
"ALL RIGHT!!!"
Kaneki then muted his mic.
Kaneki: told ya, obsessed with me getting a girlfriend or two.
Ryueki: ....
Natsuki: so what are you going to do? We need to hint.
Kaneki: like hell do I know? Seriously, I can't just break in too my Dad will kill me.
Yuuka: then, why don't I act as your girlfriend.
Everyone: Huh?!
Ryueki: why would you do that Mirai?
Yuuka: well, if they see a cute girl like me I bet they'll both be convinced and they'll give us the Hint.
Natsuki: that actually is a great idea.
Sachi: agreed.
Miku: that's going to work!
Shino: knowing Yuuka she definitely can pull it off.
Kaneki: nope! This is not going to work!
Yuuka: why not?
Kaneki: my grandparents are very strict when it comes to girls even if it's just friend's they'll be very strict! When Shita-chan came along with me to visit my grandparents, they literally made her do house chores the entire day without help and if she tries to get some rest they'll just yell!
Chikao: wow, that really is strict.
Kaneki: I know! They're kind and all but when it comes to girls I'm with, they're more Demon than me and they're both Humans!
Ryueki: seriously? You're that afraid?
Kaneki: trust me, you don't want to meet them Mirai-san.
Yuuka: don't worry, I can handle myself.
Kaneki: ..., you just want to go sight seeing huh?
Yuuka: correct! It's not everyday you go to a different city!
Kaneki: sigh~ what do you guys think?
Itsuki: well it's worth a shot.
Natsuki: yeah, who knows? It might actually work.
Sachi: just try.
Miku: have fun!
Shino: just don't do anything dumb when you meet them Yuuka.
Azusa: you can probably pull it off.
Emi: just don't make it obvious that you two are faking it.
Ryueki: if it's to get this over I'm fine with it.
Hearing everyone's opinions Kaneki had no choice.
Kaneki: fine then, Mirai-san, you should probably start preparing after this call.
Yuuka: Yay! I'm heading to Kyoto!
Kaneki: I am going to regret this.
And so Kaneki went back to his phone and talked to his Grandparents.
3 minutes later*
"Yay! We'll be expecting you here tomorrow!"
And the call ended.
Kaneki: Sigh~ alright, everyone time to go home.
And so everyone left the Kodama mansion.
Itsuki & Keiko: see you guys!
Natsuki: bye!
Shino & Miku: do your best you two!
Sachi: stay safe!
Azusa & Emi: do your best!
Ryueki: whatever.
They all left besides Kaneki and Yuuka
Kaneki: be prepared, it's going to be a long trip.
Yuuka: I will!
They will soon see Kaneki's grandparents, will their trip go well?
