"Tsukamakari", "Tsukamashi", and "Motenashi"
These words are used with the same meaning.
From the perspective of yokai, it is called "tsukamakari," while from the human side, it is referred to as "tsukamashi" or "motenashi." However, there is no clear criterion for distinguishing between them, and even humans use the word "tsukamakari" commonly.

If memory serves correctly...he sneaks into people's homes without them noticing and eats their food or smokes cigarettes while they are not looking. Because he acts so boldly around humans without fear of being caught or punished by them, people treat him as if he were their master instead!

When I was younger, though...I wondered what was so scary about him. He was supposed to be the leader of all yokai in the east or west, but I couldn't see why.
Now that I'm an adult, however, I understand how creepy and frightening he really is. After all, if you're not careful...you could end up being mentally controlled by him without even realizing it!
However, since this is another world we are talking about here - one where things may not always be what they seem - I decided to check out my wife's ancient document for more information on Nurarihyon (which was mostly written in archaic characters and translated by my wife). It turns out that most of what was written there matched with my own knowledge of Nurarihyon. So it seems likely that "old monster"(Roukai) is indeed his name in this world.
It appears that naming conventions in this city are quite straightforward.
Anyway, Nurarihyon...
The last time was Ushi-Oni, he was a strange monster, so there was a sense of detachment from reality.
