Capítulo 139: A Pathetic End

The broken sob escaped her lips but the man tightly shut her mouth. She bit him hard.

"Nicholas, the man is hiding all over. Do not come to save me," she repeated at the top of her lungs when the man slapped her.

"You crazy bitch. How dare you bite my fingers?" He pushed her hard onto the ground and placed his feet on her back.

"A filth like you was able to get the attention of two men, so you thought that you held power? I will tell you where you belong. To this mud, beneath our feet." he laughed evilly as he pressed her head.

She could feel so much pain and it felt like her ribs were broken with the force.

She always knew the story was on the dark side but somehow she felt she could change its course. 

But when had Mary accepted her defeat? She raised her head and stared back into the eyes of her tormentor with a mocking look.
