Capítulo 48: Only To Protect Her

Cassey had never been insulted so badly in her entire life. She could not bear the insults that a commoner had hurled at her.

She stood up and raised her hand to slap Mary. But who was Mary? She never tolerated crap.

"Ouch! What are you doing? Let go of my hands!" Cassey groaned when Mary held her wrist tightly and applied more force.

She winced and struggled but could not get her hands free.

"What made you think I would let you slap me? Huh?" asked Mary in an icy voice as she placed more pressure on her hands. 

"Do you think I am a pushover? Let me tell you this is your last chance. If you try to stand up against me again, I will make sure you regret it all your life." She pushed Cassey away.

Cassey fell on the butt again and winced. The injury from last night was already making it more difficult for her but now, she was insulted by a mere commoner. She could not bear it.
