Capítulo 65: Elder Jiao

The guard led the way as Lin Fan continued to lose his nerve. Prisoners in horrible conditions were lying around all over the place. Shaking his head, he cast aside all these thoughts as he thought about his next course of action.

Meanwhile, the group reached the end of the corridor, coming up to a small iron door. The guard leading the group fished out a bunch of keys from his robes, before going on to insert the key into the keyhole in the iron door. The door opened, revealing a small corridor, its walls painted red. At the end of the corridor was another room with its door painted white. The guard continued leading the way as the group made its way to the white door.

The guard in the lead knocked twice, before a gruff voice sounded out.

"What is it?"

It was only for a moment, but Lin Fan noted a change in the guard's mannerism.

"Elder Jiao, Grand Elder Chao is here to see you."
